in the IT fair it's $1699, $100 cheaper than SIM LIM SQUARE. But i upgraded the ram by 1 more GB ($70) and extended my warranty to 3 yrs (+199 same as outside prices), so in the end mine cost $1968. Took my bro and i only half an hour to go in and out of the fair at 12pm thurs. Just for that we entered suntec at 10am to get a good parking space (i drove!) and drank and read books to while away the 2 hrs.



Time to start working and find a job to pay back my mom and bro.



my advice to ivan who's also keen to get a Y400, get the extra 1GB ram. the graphics card sometimes requires a bit of ram from ur laptop when u are playing high graphics game.

Only thing here which i find irriating is that i'm still not used to the keypad yet. The backspace key is annoying close to the home button. But that's ok. This means i need to borrow the C&C 3 cd from edward to install it on my laptop.

of course now my bro and i are competing for the laptop usage time. Can't wait for him to get married and shift out.
Basically i have to be careful on my diet. Eat less proteins or i might have to have a kidney transplant in 20-30years time or go for dialysis. I have to stay healthy (no late nights). Hence the lack of participation in *ahem* clubbing or C&C 3 after 11pm since i'm usually asleep at 1130 and we all know most games lasts at least 40mins.

so ya i'm not going to destroy my kidney just to satisfy pple's desire to have a even no of players in multiplayer games. After all, (may this never happen) if i require dialysis or transplant, i'm the one having to folk out the $$$. and by that time, parents would have passed away or not working at the very least. Such stuff aren't cheap.

i can't eat/drink items/foodstuff with too much protein in it.

a) alcohol!
b) peanuts!! (bb wasabi coated peanuts)
c) beancurd, beans things with tou in them
d) liver/intestines etc

Things i have to do
a) sleep early
b) keep healthy
c) avoid overly crowded places especially during the flu season. It seems the FLU bug triggers a weakening of the kidneys.

Things abt IgA nephritis: It affects 20% of the chinese population. (sigh...suay lah). Chances of patient requires treatment is a may or may not situation.

So that's all with my life lately. A douse of massive bad news (IGA) which i'm taking it not that bad, i just say it as destiny or fate. After all i can't hide all the time, lightning might strike me, tree branch might fall and kill me, cars etc etc. so carpe diam! (that's live life to the fullest for those literature super ignorant friends of mine)

*groan* tomorrow's micheala's birthday and i haven't gotten her any gift yet. Tomorrow i will go to Bolders and get her a book. Tina said she likes books with princesses in it. Not sure if i have the strenght to look after her and luke at the same time *shudders*
