Bad news i had over the month

a) my watch of over 8 years (since i was 16) finally died-ed. *sobs* it had serve me well. acutally everything is working fine....except that the secs hand doesnt move = gg watch

it has seen the rise of emoism, it has been with me for 2 yyears and 4 months of very bitchy and bastard;y army life. it has witnessed the rise of et3000 in dota. oh watch, how i will miss you. I got my eye on another swatch watch, cpsts $163.

tried fixing the old one but oh well swatch builds their watches so well...it's not deisgned to be taken apaert. ppfft....

b) the very very bad news i received only today. et3000 iis returning to dota???? OMG!! God save our souls man. suddenly my plans for a ps3 has just been moved up to like starting of may or something.
and if there's typo errors, well it's vecause i've been typing this message while closing my eyes. I wonder how many mistakes i've made. Shld be quite a few i think.

oh well u know they are all studying for exams. How can i bear to disturb them?

and ah even if they dun have exams there are various reasons why they prob wouldnt come

for those with gfs/bfs (ivan hx etc) - how to bear tearing them apart from their supposedly better halves? couples shld spend quality time together. best not to ka chio them for a FREE meal.

for the emo gay knight - he sure busy with tkd stuff. such a hardworking person. also better not disturb him. later he eats the food gets diahorrea then can't compete in some tournement sure blame me.

for yh - i know how he loves being at home. let's not trouble him too

zy and gz- they also mugging or dotaing with SIM friends. also dun disturb them

oh my...no one left to invite.

*dramtic sigh* oh well guess it's all up to me to treat myself all alone.

oh well let it be said that victor is a kind and generous person who would love to treat his friends. Though it pains his heart to treat himself all alone, he respects their individual interests and other relationships and doesnt want to cause any disruption there.

i wanted to blog abt today which was really really FML type of day

then now this very depressed mood struck me.

so i'm really in an emo mood anyway. sighs.

if i was a female it would be called pms-ing

i'm feeling cynical...pessimistic and basically really low down in moral.

Sighs......*black mood* it's been a damn long time since i last had such moody swings. it usually comes when i think too much on life, sufferings of people, the overall helplessness of pple etc

maybe i shld sleep earlier. wake up fresh. these moods usually die out in a day

Life is truly very frickle and short. We are a mere candle flame flickering in the wind of life where a short puff can extinguish our little lifespans.

Despite mankind's maybe over highly rated sense of self, we are very insignificant in the universe.

human lifespan = abt 60-100 years for now
the universe, the earth the solar system are all millions billions of years old.
singapore is a small place in the world. the world is a small place in our system. and our system is a speck of dust in the starry universe.

there was this documentary on discovery i saw months ago. What will happen if all of mankind just disappeared suddenly? Within 5000 years, all traces of us would be erased, save those writings scribbled on rocks with primitive tools.

cds/ dvds will be gone in abt 100 years
power stations like those in Las Vegas will be gone in 40 years.
500 years later, nature will reclaim cities and any man made structures back into the wild.
1000 years later, our sky scappers will form the foundations of new hills.
Animals will revert to their own instincts and hunt in packs etc
within 5000 years, nothing will remain.

Oh well but as long as we live i guess we do what we must do to survive.

the crash will definitely lead to some serious politcal brickering and others might use this for their own agendas.

so went to HX's CM's cell group event. not bad at all.

and of course err the company was good too u know? and they didnt really like pressure pple to join their church or what.

wah liao..quote a certain Senor Hybrido: " hx promised us 72 virgins!!" hahahaha...but the people there were all not even above 16 lol. we went there to support hx to support CM. the supporters of the supporter.

It seems that HX was err..well known there. The little xiao mei meis were like approaching him cautiously...like lambs going towards a lion. yup...seems they knew him all right. it was also during that period the thin line distinction btw girlfriend and slave began to blur for me. HX was sooo loving towards CM. Sentences like :"I need more drinks where's the lychee matini?...where's my pringles? pls fill up the oreo cookies." can send us back home later? (she was driving but in the end we decided to take cab back. let's not impose on her so much)

Btw yh, do tell us if we need to pay more for the cab fare.

Tears welled up in YH and my eyes at such tender loving care and affection.

pretty sure there were some hidden love messages in those sentences known only btw the 2 of them. YH and I just couldn't decipher their hidden meanings. Strange are the ways of God indeed to make love so complex. lol.

they even gave us little sheets of paper to write down our details and some qns

a) are u Christians (my ans: err...60% yes) shld have writen down 60% yes, 30% cynical idealist and 10% free thinker. I do believe in Christianity but a cynic like me can never truly believe in any religion i think. I question too much expect too much and see too little being done.

haha..yh wanted to put CZY'S Email address down. hahahahha...hx and i had a damn good laugh knowing zy's views on Christianity. but alas...we couldn't remember his full email address and yh alrdy wrote his name and no to the 1st 2 qns.

can imagine zy's face when he sees email telling him: thank you for expressing interest in wanting to know more abt Christ. Pls feel free to attend so and so service etc.

there music wasn't that bad. in fact i downloaded 2 songs from YouTube. 1 from Taylor Swift and the Accidentally in Love song.

Then there were the interactions btw her cell group older pple. Remember 1 of them asking if we read the bible which i said yes. ( in an tremendous fit of boredom, i read the whole bible from cover to cover in 2 days during secondary school holidays)

Overall i enjoyed the experience. I mostly enjoy church events i guess. songs mostly are nice (ENGRISH SONGS), preachings of love and forgiveness arent that bad and of course THE GIRLS MAN THE GIRLS!!! *ahem* ah yes where was i? ah preachings are good.

( i can imagine the nex time i die and at the white pearly gates they will be like showing evidence on whether i shld go up to drink heavely mead/beer/vodka or err...way way down to eat spicy stuff and they would show all these little comments and have me squirming uncomfortably there lol. )

Note to self: i need a radio in my room. I didn't even know who Taylor Swift was until Will told me abt her. Heck..here i was thinking it was a male singer. Taylor sounds male-ish right? Was thinking of getting a radio for the longest time. but it keeps on slipping my mind.

btw ivan...i was at ikea on Saturday...and i saw there the free pencils . There were over 30 of them in a counter (1 counter...and through ikea there are like at least 3 counters?).... and they were LONGER in length and CLEANER than those you gave me as a BIRTHDAY AND XMAS PRESENT ON THE SAME YEAR!!! Remind me to suitably "thank" you the next time i see u k?

My church is having an Easter celebration and I'll be playing in a band to provide the free (but u may have to visit a ENT specialist after that) music. (pub style)

Event: love@BTPC (BTPC is my church name)
Venue: 19F Charlton Lane (10min walk from Kovan MRT)
Time: 630pm-9pm.

We'll be playing songs like Always Be By Baby, Accidentally in Love and Gary Cao songs. There'll be some simple activities too!

There'll be free desserts and drinks, so ur can have light dinner at Kovan Hawker Centre (they've really gd fishball noodles n chick rice) b4 that. and AFTER 9pm, i can intro u all to this dessert place at Ice Age nearby =)
