life goes on..

well..last update was during that period of xmas. sigh...was life a total mess during that period. Still remember clinching my teeth so hard to contain the grief that i could've sworn i was going to break them into pieces. The worst was seeing how my family members were affected by this personal tragedy. Even now there is a hollow empty feeling inside of me. Sithspawn! Then again i guess the relatvies of the victims of the tsunami are feeling the same..if not worst. probably worst.

The only consolation was that he died painlessly, lived a happy life and enjoyed himself in a way many wished they would be able to. You taught me much, much of what i am is thanks to you. You will be missed.

A most bitter & cruel Xmas

at 1st i wanted to write abt this...then again i found out it's far too fucking confidential. or whether the hurt is still too fresh and painful. Needless to say, my xmasn, or rather, the whole Cheong family's xmas has been ruined, all due to the bloody cruel hand of fate. Damm it. Damm everything, everyone, the gods too. Sigh..

well....forced to do duty again..because all my other personnel who are 'supposed' to do have pulled stunts again. ok lah..only 2 pulled stunts. the other has a legitimate excuse - compassionate leave. the other 2? 1 excused duties 1 month (envious...) the other bastard? as usual didn't turn up...probably get MC. also heard from his friends he getting another MC on monday too...f*cked! same day i'm doing duty again..

I am so sick of doing pple's shit for them. They pull stunts and nothing happens and i'm the one suffering their bloody excuses. CB! now i'm going to miss the Lakers vs the Kings on NBA today. bloody hell. feel like killing someone...fuck!

Noticed i've been complaining+ whining at the army way way too much!
so i guess i might as well look on the bright side of life there ya? *pukes*

by end Dec, i would've served a whole yr in Army! ya! 1 yr 4 months more to go then! 3 months if i take my month of leave! hahahaha!

going to a new unit by next week..would be very interesting since my old boss would be there.alrdy hearing things like "oh..u r that victor...our S3's favourite." Bde life would be more interesting i guess. backstabbing, set ups etc etc...some true excitement! Good thing i know most of the pple there pretty well. Then again their fair face might hide a foul heart. At least i would've enuff time to go to the gym and exercise once more! been growing fat!!! argh!!

let's see...managed to get xcused gd duty for 2 wks! abt time! there's nothing holding me back now. my good friends are being posted out, no regrets in skipping duties now. Do i care abt the current pple doing duties now? no! i dun give a damm!

Minus all the duties i've been doing...my life's been pretty good. Good Chief clerk, companions, overall pretty decent bosses except my Major Mario. Good working hours, despite the occasional staying back late stuff. Guess i should be grateful huh?

Exhausted!

This must 've been the most single extremely exhausting week i've ever had in my whole life. Literally cleared up the whole 'strong' room and office of all the documents.

It's like the week b4, we were clearing most of the confi & below documents which included booklets etc etc to recycle them in this industry plant. Must've been tons? no lah, most likely abt 300-500kg worth of stuff we cleared.

anyway juz cleared abt 36 bags of shredded paper this 4 days. been working OT...blah! the paper dust....phew! + office is in a whole mess now..haha! nvm lah, closing down anyway. if u added the trash we recycled and converted them into shredded bags of trash, probably would have at least 200 bags.
*note* some of the docs were even older than me! haha! saw a 1979 one. and 1 in mar 1985.

haha...watched Incredibles the day b4 deepavali. pure tyco-ness in getting the tickets. me thinks toshiba was giving off free tickets to it's employees that day and this guy didn't want to watch the show. sold us the 4 tickets 4 $6.50. haha...and at the best seating positions! oh yeah...also had free gifts. water bottle, posters, calendar, mouse pads etc etc. haha..divided up the spoils and i got the posters. One of jack jack and the other of Mr Incredible. Jack jack poster is cute. anyway Incredibles was a very very nice show. maybe i will buy the dvd.

let's see....nothing much in army camp so far. As expected still have to do duties until 24th dec. dun know wat the heck 6 SIR is doing. It's amazing on how the date for gd duty take over always extends...from aug to oct to 6th dec and now 24th dec. by the time they really take over i will probably ORD loh.

Things which makes duty sux!
1) S'pore weather...enuff said. Give me 2 hrs(if i'm lucky) where i dun wake up drenched.
2) Nothing to do...literally!
3) Share a bloody lousy tv with 10 other pple
4) Did u know that the bed's have never been washed b4? only the sheets are changed...
5) stench when u go home! the smell juz sticks to u
6) duh...no aircon? some idiot complained abt aircon giving off a smell the last time(from wat i heard lah) and they removed it. ....dun u feel like killing that jerk?
7) see ur 'friends' smiling and waving bye bye at u at 1745hrs? *CB*
8) lack of sleep duh!
9) bloody suckers flying at nite seeking ur blood!(record 21 bites in one nite+sandflies bite on arm too.)
10) Happens too f*cking frequently. 6-8 per month! whee! more! more! (insane ramblings)

formation duty clerk:
1) Air con
2) share room with DO (nuthing much)
3) rm got 1 tv (again share with DO)
4) sleep 6-7 hrs at a stretch..*sobs..i want that!!!! i'm even happy with 5*
5) really really do nothing. juz handle the keys. can read book, play with dice, eat anything anytime...CB! okok worst thing is juz talking to the DO the whole nite...can't sleep lor.
6) might die of boredom if not prepared probably.

found out that in 2 wks time, my chief clerk posting out leaving urs truly as the ONLY clerk in the office....damm! haha PTE Victor Chief Clerk (covering)... too bad no pay rise huh?

a) can't go anywhere at all during office hrs
b) 1 clerk *me* serving 4/5 officers.
c) more money spent on canteen food instead of cookhouse* need to man office whole day until dec 6*

found out going to 30 SIB in dec 06 when the unit closes down. it seems my new direct chief clerk (mdm something*) seems to be quite a bad one...hmm..things could be interesting.

found out that i'm kind of missing the comradeship i had in BMT when i shared a bunk with others. Guess that's the one of the difference btw a clerk and combat vocationalists person. Sigh...feel like a loner again. *grunt* can live with that. haha.

wow...woke up at 11 today. didn't know i could sleep past 10,30. usually my natural body clock would wake at 930...okok 10 latest? 1/2 hr is for juz trying to start the spark which i call a brain.

now i am that i'm more refreshed from yesterday, might as well describe more abt the night. It's interesting in the way that the music flows ard u. closed my eyes, felt every beat and sound wave ard me. initially wasn't really used to the noise. but after the free vodka lime, things seem pretty cool. not bad for a 1st time experience. *still thinks of the babes there* hahahaha...*evil smile*

ah...righty then back today. nothing much today. juz preparing for GP exam on thurs. anyway yes.i'm retaking it and only it. why? juz so i can prove i can get higher marks. sheesh...vanity, pride... Did an essay for my mom to mark. my writing's pretty slow compared to last time. only managed 2.5 sides. MAN! WAT HAPPENED TO THE SKILLS FROM LIT AND HISTORY????!!!

my pimples are surfacing again.juz when i thought almost all had vanished. must be the alcohol and lack of sleep. haha. wouldn't get much time to heal with the duties pouring in this wk. sheesh.

Clubbing

not a bad night at all. despite the fact we had to wait for ivan like 2.5 hrs b4 he came...sigh...normally i would be pissed and i was for a while but since the night or morning turned out ok, all's forgiven. haha.

went in abt 11 after all the waiting. haha...ed threw away his receipt &couldn't get his free drink. Fed up with us laughing at him, he somehow managed to retreive it at the dustbin. i gathered he threw in in the ash tray and luckily enuff no one swiped it.

music was pretty good i guess...not much of a good judge anyway. and boy! there were lots of pretty babes! there was this cute one in a holloween costume with a mask covering her eyes. Pretty hot.

Besides talking abt my over active hormones, drank vodka lime and a cup of beer. Sigh...ed and ivan sure become high. ok ivan become dizzy, and ed.....slightly drunk? haha...no tolerance at all Me? juz felt my face turned hot and my eyes were slightly blood shot.

Nothing much happened, juz danced until 2.30am or so. Saw a few really tipsy pple that night. One even collapsed juz 2m away from me. *bong* luckily her friends were ard. Then a stupid smoker's cigarette's butt burnt my skin. CB...even heard her complaining abt how the cig. was extinguished....ya lah, cig extinguished big deal lah! slightly burnt flesh no big deal...

phew! still stink of smoke. advice for getting rid possible hangovers from my cousin who's a regular clubber: 2 panadols and 1 big big glass of water b4 u go to sleep.

somehow don;t feek liking sleeping. think too used to guard duty liao. usually i'm awake at this particular shift. haha. or is it the 12-3 shift? nvm. Nights pple!

Shiok!

Great wkend this wk. hardly get to enjoy my 5 day working wks. feels good to sleep more than 6 hrs on a wkend now. it reminds me to enjoy the simple pleasures of life more often. *yummy, this apple is great, super sweet* haha.

i'm enjoying the apple, i'm enjoying the cool weather, the wind blowing through the house, the music on my winamp.

Don't even know why i'm blogging even though i got nothing to say...oh well must be feeling super sian. haha.

Going clubbing at China black later with the gang. hehe...it would be an interesting experience i must say, 1st time clubbing. Let's hope i dun get drunk and punch someone. haha...it would be hilarious. at least going home would be easy, juz take 75.

This is how life should be like once in a while. no stress, hanging out with good old friends and enjoying yourself without a care in the world. The simple pleasures in life. too bad such pleasures come so rarely.

Truly Unlucky?

man....super super unlucky! 1st thing in the morning and the door is spoilt!!! main door of the office somemore...then my OA account lock out...send out slightly wrong daily ops. is it too much to take 1/2 a day off? huh? huh? Answer me!!!

think i need more sweets! losing control!!! argh! then again...on a + side, managed to avoid duty today! on the other side..received my nxt month's forecast too.

another 6, 3 wk end, 1 on hari raya prussa...f*ck! there goes my super long wkend....why?? that really snapped my morale for the day. sheesh..enuff self pitying and foolishness. still got abt 600 more documents to record by dec. *gulps*

angels and demons....something we all have inside of us. angel= honour, good will etc etc
demons= anger, fear, destruction etc etc

lately the beast in me seems to be growing..anger is swift to come..juz feel like destroying something...someone...anything. i've become bleaker too i noticed.

guess army life..even the puny time i spend in camp is corrupting me.. bit by bit, day by day a little small part of me dies away. i'm sure my friends will find it unusual for me to swear so much these days...haha. oh well...what will i become in the future? hmm....

btw...haha! finally completed my 40th guard duty last week! at least there are enuff NS reservists for me to avoid my next 3 duties this month. phew! hmm..i'm bored. maybe will try figuring out how to play ard with this blog site soon. ciao
