so midway into my ict. and i'm a *drum roll* STOREMAN!!! sai kang warrior!

i tell u ah..these days NSF cmi leh. 1st day briefing so many cockups. can't be compared to 1 PDF clerk's time! alvin , teck chuan, g1 branch etc

problems
1) sound system not properly set up b4 all the nsmen came.
2) dun know how to press alt f5 to switch from comp screen to transfer to visualiser
3) accidentally put the comp to sleep mode half way through the presentation

tsk tsk if it was our batch..we would have triple tested everything..made sure everything all zai zai set up. haiz...youngsters these days..bo wei gong. no skill.

so ya i'm a storeman in a fucking garung unit

a) new comd new rsm, S1 (DIV nsmen of the yr award enuff said) --> super see bei on

= super seebei sian= more work

rumours abound: unit might close down in 2 yrs down = 2nd unit i've been that's dao bi!

1 PDF --> 30 si --> next mindef? lol

comd said new uniform incoming in 2years time too. urban warfare colours.

me trying to tan my body. or at least upper arms. sit near window trying to sleep. so far this ict nothing to do. but come high key...will be troublesome.

officers in QM side = not bad. my new ka kias/buddies are pretty good too. i';m the youngest even though there are a 2 other 24yrs olds and a few 26-29 yrs olds.

okok fine so i didn't update for sometime. SO???? at least it's not as bad compared to those times a few years back when i updated like once every 1-2months right?

So i mmight as well comment on my work in this post.

Working at an employment agency, u see/meet/talk with a lot of pple. clients/candidates, resumes. So here are a few instances which kind of stuck to my mind.

1) CY is working with me!!! sian half. Still..the best of my recruitment at candidates lol. $6/hr! and we make him set a excel files, IT stuff, make him do work, and all that for that low pay! WHEE!!! best buy /recruit i had for sometime! *gives supremely evil grin*

2) resumes are kind of fun to read. of course there are some that are total crap. The best one so far? Gave us the resume which requires a password to open. and he/she didn't provide it. Viola! there's 1 person who will never get a job till he realises his/her misake

3) Clients: some are good. some are just so fucking irritating. Good ones: give detaileed job descriptions (JDs), not picky, hands in T&C promptly etc

Bad ones: picky, irritating, fussy (maybe fussy and picky are the same) but u get the drift.

case example 1: give a JD which is frankly speaking requirements see bei high sia. 7-8 yrs exp, age 30-40 and full set of accounts. only want CHINESE too. (racist buggers lol).

so send them over 10 resumes. All kana rejected and here are the reasons

1) too overqualified, (*faintz)
2) too ordinary
3) candidate too stressed up

the biggest joke of all? overqualified one which was rejected was asked to go for an interview 3days after i told her she was rejcted. Seriously...why do i suspect 3months time i will still be finding the same job for that company?

another company: almost non existant JD. salry: no cap no max, info is like super minmial. and this is a MNC leh!!

as a result i'm now a master of the fake a happy voice technique
i will sound interested over the phone, fake a happy voice and thank them for being so "understanding" while in my mind i will be like thinking "KNN LAH! give me so much trouble, thinks murderous thoughts, clenches fists etc etc)

haiz...life is tough. SO ANYONE wants a job? lol. dun worry, u will be treated better than cy. (i think lol)

1 thing abt cy: give him free fruits (courtesy of my aunt who receives it from another aunt who passes it to me), and he complains it gives him stomachaches. wah liao...talk abt showing gratitude huh? the type of friends i;ve.....whatsmore those are nice good big fruits lah! FOC too!!!

i can't watch the NBA finals AGAIN!!! damm sad. same as last year when i was working too (or was it the year b4 last?)
