Birthday in 1 month 2 days time ya!

Still thinking what to do to celebrate it. But of course i'm encountering difficulties like who to invite, how to celebrate etc etc

Problems:
1: The pple to invite: who? I wouldn't mind inviting some girls along with the usual pple but that leads to no 2 problem

2: What type of food?
Guess it can be a buffet (but i believe the ladies might not like it)
BBQ? Might work out i guess. Cleaning up might be a problem and the cooking too

3. Where?

My aunt suggested my house but then again....it's a whee bit small
maybe a park like west coast or something or a restaurent..

4. Timing:
Univ term juz started so i'm pretty sure pple would be pretty busy studying (BOOKWORMS!) or working or sleeping So probably most wouldn't turn up i think

Come to think of it, my 21st birthday would be the 1 yr where

a) It's not during exams time (like it has been since the age 7-18)

b) When i was not in NS.

(age b4 7 i can't remember what my birthdays were like, blank memory)

Oh joy. Swoon with joy.

Taken from Mr Brown's blog site. Love reading his posts, so funny.

FYI: This was taken from an ICQ or was it IRC conversation? Amazing how he gets such stuff.

1 irrtating hugely frustrating bit of my job i HATE!!! : Calls bombarding me when i'm having lunch in front of the comp.

I mean i know ppple want to make money earn BIG profits etc. BUT must u call during lunch time??? Can't even swallow my noodles properly. Wah liao! I mean what happens if i choke and die while answering the phone?? My family members will be upset. My friends will also be sad because of no victor to treat them food/drinks (occassionally)

Next time going to charge those idiotic pple extra points for calling during lunch time. Make them earn less $$ *EVIL LAUGHTER*

*update*
getting blamed for a piece of work which i did. Even though i did ask 1 of the seniors for advice. (the usual person doing it wasn't around). So sick of getting blamed for things not my fault. (4th time so far) KNN. Damm mondays.
This is one of those mondays when I wake up feeling super sleepy and tired again even though i slept for 6hrs. Can u believe i almost missed getting off the right mrt station?

ZZZ....oh well monday blues monday blues...1 of those days where every light and noise is either too bright or light, the eyes are twitching. SIGHS!

Think i need a dose of coffee or sugar pump from sweets to get the blood going.

Random Thoughts

I wonder whether edward has finished folding his stars for the "mysterious" girl he likes. Come to think abt it, we didn't even asked him how many he intended to fold...Wonder how many it needs to fill 1 jar?

oh well, with luck it might take him a few months! hahaha. He said making the stars by himself shows sincerity, but if the girl loses interest by the time he finishes folding the stairs, it kind of defeats the purpose of folding them in the 1st place right? He shld ask czy to help him. Czy is the master of folding stars man.

So for guys wishing to fold stars for char bos, go look for him. I'm sure his charges wouldn't be that high. 5cents a star? 100 stars= $20?

Good business idea. Targets: Desperados like the Bachelors' club members.

My take on religion: I don't absolutely believe in any 1 religion. Rather i believe in the good aspect which religions portray. You know, the if someone slap you 1 side of the face, let him slap the other side too etc. ( for me if it's someone slap me on the face, u better be prepared to get hammered, simple logic)

Be good to your neighbours, be kind gentle caring etc. Of course not everyone can be like this especially since there are always back stabbing scrum and bastards everywhere in this world who will take advantage of such kind souls. But i digress so back to the original pt.

If you look properly at the 3 main religions (Buddhism, Christanity and Islam), all have their GOOD and Bad...no more like negative pts in history. Well...actually i can only think of some for Christanity and Islam, my knowledge of buddhism is a bit limited.

Negative pts in history

Christanity - Medival times: burning of "witches", "heretics" etc w/o conclusive evidence, group called the inquisitors who also used torture to extract such "confessions" You can kindof get the drift.

Islam - Suicide bombers, end of story

U can instil the principles of the religion on a person, but can such principles change the nature of the person? (especially if he/she is violent/evil in nature?)
Do i look like a Christian? Don't really know why pple always kindof say Victor is a Christian. For the record i'm more of a free thinker, haven't been baptised even though i went to church for a few yrs.

Do i have the Christian kind of look?

I liked going to church the last time because of the hymns i guess. and NO! there weren't that many pretty gals in my church class that time. Stopped going because I decided i liked my sleep better but more importantly I had tuition on sunday mornings too. (O lvl year)

wow...that means i have not gone to church for the last 5yrs. Some person i am. I'll probably make a lousy christian anyway. Questioning too much on the why why why why why qns. Will most likely drive the pastor up the wall and he will excommunicate me.

Next post : More on religion (don;t want to make this post too long)

3 things i love abt going to my Ah Mah's house on Sundays

1. The food! - no matter how good the food is at stalls, somehow food cooked by ur grandma ALWAYS tastes better. Even simple food like French beans tastes so darn good. The best is of course the fried chicken wings she makes on special occasions like CNY, 7th Month etc etc *drools* hmm...chicken wings

2. The relatives: Nothing better than a weekly or fortnightly or monthly get together with the cousins/aunties/uncles + 1 newphew and niece. STRONG FAMILY BONDING!!!

Of course with the addition of the newphew and niece it's more like a struggle to keep them from destroying the house but THEY ARE SO....CUTE!!

When they are behaving themselves (kindof rare), u can hug them, poke at them (gently) and carry them. (something like teddy bears, gosh...this sounds so insulting)

BUT

when they go havok....zzz.....ever tried chasing 1 kid up the stairs and keeping the younger 1 downstairs?

Worst is then the older one goes on a warpath, the younger 1 follows suit. Ever tried fending 2 babies off when both decide to punch and climb over u when u are napping?

Even if one gets angry all they have to do is smile sweetly and all the anger is forgotten. (sneaky pair aren't they?). Babies...to strangle or not to strangle? (DUH! obviously i wouldn't strangle my own nephew or niece! VICTOR NOT MONSTER!! VICTOR GOOD!)

More on the babies next time
