In an attempt to save his good friend from the dreadful dark(er) side of Emoism, *since emoism is alrdy considered the dark side* LUKE TANGWALKER steps from the path of happy enjoy urself light side into the dark path of emoism to try and reach out and break The Emo-er from it's influence.

Alas, but as Master Doya (Yoda) and many happy do goodies masters from before have said: "Be warned of Emoism! Once you start down the dark path, forever will it dominate your destiny. Beware. Anger, fear, aggression. The dark side are they.

And our secret super small and sophisticated spy bot caught the classic encounter on tape. Too bad Ivan Tangwalker didnt listen to his master's words.

As all of us or rather most of us have witnessed, the emo god's power of emoism has grown very powderful. it has grown in magnitude power etc within the span of 1 year.

How was the emo god formed? here are several theories (based on several marvel comics characters)

Theory 1

CZY was in an exhibition displaying MMORPG stuff and they were showign the new machine guranteed to let one stay awake for 4more hours! Alas, at that moment when the beam was shot out, an emo spider was caught in the blast and disoriented, it landed on CZY's arm and bit him. Zy's eyesight got better, the emo str of the spider (x50 of a normal human being) and the EMO GOD WAS BORN!! (taken from spiderman's beginning for those marvel know nots)

Theory 2

Hulk Theory. Emo Nuclear bomb and ZY gets emofied by trying to save a poor person or the equivlent = Saving someone from a massive gank in dota which got him killed, the saved person didnt know thank zy but laughed at his foolishness. This unleashed ZY's latent emoism to such levels that from then on...ZY was no more! in his place was the EMO GOD!!

Theory 3

Willing to accept a experimental serum in order to help join the Singapore's gamers' guild to compete in the WCG, volunteer CZY offered to have it injected in him to enhance his reflexes, build up muscles mass etc etc

The experiment was a success but it had the side effect of also enchancing his emoness by many folds! but alas b4 it could be duplicated, a mysterious assassin killed the scientist and burned his notes. Thus was born captain czy....i mean the EMO GOD!

whole morning and till now will and ivan both not online!!! bloody hell they must be sleeping in this nice weather.

anyway for my comp, yh's suggestion abt the ram problem is probably off. They did change the graphics card, ram ,motherboard and even the harddisk and the problem still remains. So prob the main problem is MB compatibility which is weird considering that they said that they have sold other identical setup copies to pple and they have no problems. Someone up there really doesn't like me.

so once again i must take yet another 1/2 day leave to fix the comp. #(!#(!))$*(!@.

my fucking comp gave me the #(*!)(#*!)( ( blue screen of death again!! again! OMFG!! i'm like so fucking pissed.

so basically once hit with the blue screen it will auto loop reset with a blue screen appearing everytime until u foce shutdown the comp.

i get various messages like
Driver IRQL not less or equal
memory_management
page fault in non paged area

and finally after the bloody 4th blue screen i got this non blue screen error

warning: mainbios checksum error.

it's like so fucked up. So being the google geek i a, i goggled all the errors and here were some of the results

1) motherboard compatibility with the whole system ( i think it's this problem)
2) Battery in comp weak ( rubbish! and forums also put changing batt sometimes prob also can still occur)
3) Nvidia driver problem? (updated the drivers alrdy so prob not)

i mean even this morning when my dad was surfing the net bluescreen popped out. WTF! what's more it seems that other sets with the same config have been sold and MINE IS THE ONLY ONE GIVING PROBLEMS! IF i wanted such a screwed up comp, i would have bought a bloody $900 set instead.

the best part? my initial computer i bought 2 years back also had to go back so many times!! that's why i changed shop to PC themes since it has quite a good reputation. No problems when those pple in the shop tested it for hours. But within 2 days of me playing..the fucking problems all pop out. ($@#(!_#(!#(!)!(. The only good thing so far is the excellent after service support. But i'm still getting hell of a fucked up frustration lagging my comp all the time and paying ERP and parking fees at SLS.


seriously life's quite screwed up this month besides this comp problem. haiz.......more health issues (just when i thought my Iga was doing fine another thing pops out, comp problems, bloody candidates at work not showing up or changing timings like no one's business, what else can go wrong?

so tempted to just take 1 month unpaid leave to do my own stuff. unwind, travel ard singapore to borders, suntec etc i dun know. It's like playing blackjack and getting a 12 with ur 1st two cards and the next card u just had to get a 10 to go burst.

i'm really feeling kinda scewed up kinda thing feeling now..

damm u zy!! u better not be doing some voodo emo magic with ur sis helping and holding a doll of me with needles jabbed in it!!

The Emo Disciple

Skill 1

Emo Wave: When irritated enough, the the emo disciple unleases his fearsome emo wave around him, causing havok amongst both friends and foes.

lvl4: Does 300dmg + 20x(no. of deaths) to enemies and 150dmg + 10x(no. of deaths) to allies. Also induces Rage for 4s among allies, increasing damage by 20%.

Skill 2

Emoism Aura: Stepped in emoism for years, this aura is truly terrifying. No one is spare, not even his allies....

Lvl 4: When the number of Emo Disciple's death is above his kills, he generates a massively negative aura that continuously damages everyone by 4% HP until his kills outnumber his deaths.

Skill 3

Emo Overload: Falling under the spell of emoism, the emo disciple ignores all signs of dangers and charges in pursuit of his foes. Death holds no fear over the emo disciple.

lvl 4: Player automatically loses control over the Emo Disciple whenever his team has killed 1 less tower than the opposing team. If neither side has a tower, the Tree/Throne on the side of Emo Disciple must have equal or more HP than the enemies' in order to disable Emo Overload.

While Emo Overload is active, Emo Disciple will find the spot with highest number of opponents and charge into their midst while throwing 1HP Chickens. If all enemies are dead, the Emo Disciple will sprint at 200% movement speed towards the opposite fountain.

Ultimate: Ragequit.

When Ragequit is learned, the player automatically disconnects.

New Hero suggestion for dota 6.61

1) The Emo Disciple!

Description: Raised under the tutelage of the EMO GOD, his 1st disciple decided to join the sentinals to end the evil of the scourge! Laughing insanely into battle, the emo disciple can as much as a threat to his allies as to his enemies.

Skill 1

Emo Wave: When irritated enough, the emo disciple unleases his fearsome emo wave in a straight line, causing havok amongst his foes.
lvl 4: does 300dmg + 20x (no of deaths), induces emoism temporaily to enemies + reducing their armour by 6 and 20% chance they might suicide charge you for the next 5secs

Skill 2

Emoism Aura: Stepped in emoism for years, this aura is truly terrifying, no one is spare not even his allies....

Lvl 4: Emoism spreads slowly towards all who comes near the emo disciple.The massively negative aura reduces all dmg given out by 20% (allies included) to all within a 700 range. Lasts for 15secs. Cd = 60 secs. There is a 10% chance that all heroes within range lose control for 10secs.


Skill 3

Emo boost: Utilising the science of emoism, the emo disciple ignores all signs of dangers and charges in pursuit of his foe. Death holds no fear over the emo disciple over the joy of getting kills.

lvl 4: once locked into a hero, this skills forces the emo disciple to chase after the hero for 10secs. During this duration, emo disciple cannot change his direction but can still use spells. Gains +50% mana regen, +10% movment speed -5 armour. If the emo disciple kills the hero and manages to escape, he gains an extra 100g.

Ultimate: Avatar of the Emo God.
By invoking his God's name, the Emo Disciple is granted a minor faction of his deity's powers, Let Emoism Reign!!

lvl 3: Inspires all allies to charge forward gaining a 10% increase in attack dmg, movement speed and mana regen at the course of -10 armour for 15secs. Allies cannot retreat/use items during this duration.
20% chance the emo disciple might wander off to NC areas during this duration, tp away, do nothing or hinder his allies (like eul pple into the air for fun) due to the effects of this spell. (-5% chance = 15% chance with sceptar)

3% chance that he might quit for no reason. IF this does happen, mocking laughter can be heard for 5secs. Allies of the emo disciple will each receive 1000g in compensation. (this chance becomes 1% with sceptar)

So for the past week i've tried waking up in the morning to exercise and here's the result.

I try to wake up at 730am. have my usual 2 slices of plain bread, exercise till ard 820am, bath etc and go to work by 850 or so.

Monday - woke up at 730...or tried to...fell back to sleep till 745am. EPIC FAILURE. decided to skip exercise that day since i wouldnt have been able to do much

Tueday - I actually woke up on time!! and did my routine. SUCCESS!!

Wednesday - Woke up on time after dota session ended at like 1+? (bloody long game). Tried doing exercise...instead of 7km of cycling i did 3...did my weights lifting...felt too bloody tired to do the rest of sit ups and pushup. FAIL!!!

Thursday - decided to rest. tired day at office

So my routine is at best 50-50. badddd....

i blame this on ivan and william and dota sessions and mr emo god.

good news is that my comp shld be fixed by tomorrow. They testing out 2D 3D and graphics intensive games on it at the moment. it better bloody work. Maybe it's only mass effect on the comp even though i doubt it. but still.heck.

Sims3...almost "acquired" it. This sunday...must cut hair. so count me out for BB guys.

Today while at Sim lim checking out on the troubleshooting of my comp, i saw this incredibly chio/pretty/hot/go ga-ga female lifeform at the lobby.

true, she had quite a bit of makeup on. but it was something else abt her that made me turn a few times /stare at her (discreetly of course). could be her high high heels+ her height (ard ivan's height i think) makeup but i think it was more of the fact that she radiated the kinda confidence u rarely see in pple these days and the way she walked. Some sort of inner glow i will say. really took my breath away. Confidence is sexy? lol. she looked a bit koreanish. (then again could be the makeup)

Rare indeed.

And the office 1 floor below mine has quite a few pretty girls too. think maybe because it's promoting facial products or some skin and beauty thing, so i guess they need pretty girls to uphold their image.

Hmm..this makes me sound pretty desperate lol? ah well... whatever.

Guess it's not the kind of experience u have everday. worth blogging i guess.

i wanted to follow up the last post with an emo outburst but after seeing hx's greetings from europe + taking a healthy dose of eclipse mints sweets, my emoness has kinda dissipated.

So for during this 1 whole *fucking* (insert hx-ness here so that we dun miss him too much) , hx is off holidaying with CM. wah! so cool. i wonder why he didnt ask any of us to see him off the airport. So sad.

WOHOO! so now for the whole month, month free of arrowing, "arranging" stuff for all of BC members. Ah...life is good.

Now if only we could get zy to stop emo-ing during dota....and it might be the perfect month lol. paradise paradise. However, knowing our emo god's emoness, trying to cure his emoness is like trying to end world hunger. admirable goal but freakingly impossible given the current world conditions.

it's been a damm bad week. really really reallly bad

1) bought a new comp. 2nd day of testing it out while playing Mass effect kana blue screen of death. at 1st i thought it was maybe ME wasn't compatible with vista 64bit, but a search through the web shows alot of pple have completed it with 64bit.

2) after 5days, service guy called me, it's fixed! or kinda. he changed the graphics card, ram and motherboard. so shd be ok. but but after trying for antoehr 20mins, kana blue screen again. So his solution, he will reinstall vista, reinstall my game and if that still doesnt work he will change the CPU. why am i so unlucky??? my last comp also had this kinda shit.

3) My candidate PS me. He came, didnt like the job and escaped when no one was looking kns! and i was forced to replace him and had to wear a mascot costume. Photos will be out. Freakingly hot. lucky only had to wear it for like 10-15mins per every 1 hr. There was a fan in the costume but no one told me till the very last photo shoot. &@!*&@!&**@&

4) Zy's Emoness at yesterday's dota game. That really blew my temper. enuff said. The things i said to him were harsh but well deserved. I can' stand such fucking losers. Even when i'm lagging and feeding i've almost never quit. that bloody ass quits whenever he feels like it. I mean come on man, we were winning 4v5 and the other opponents minus a pretty skilled pudge were very very lousy. just because he was 0-3 he left. fucked up. my scoldings in 1 sentence included cb,f*ck and a$$hole. whatever, i will just kick him out of the games i host, if others host, it's up to them to decide bah. but i will not let zy play in my game for a long time.

Acutally those 3 things happened yesterday so ya it was a very very very bad day = bad week.

i wonder how THX is doing in UK now? how i envy friends with gfs. i mean maybe besides ivan lol. jsut kidding. i want a girl who cooks cleans and gives me money. it was a really weird dream. somehow hx had a laptop plugged into god knows where under a overhead bridge. and it was raining. and all 3 of us were watching some weird white boxes on the screen. i think in my dream i had the impression it was some drama which hx always watched? and then......my alarm woke me up at 620am and it was time for me to wake up and get rdy to send my sis-in-law to work at SGH.

ah hell...who said dreams ever made sense? but it was the 1st true dream i had in a real long time.

reason: i went for a biopsy for my kidney. Bascially they jab a needle into my kidney and took out a very small piece of it.

anyway i was in hospital for 3D2N. couldn't sleep for the 1st day. had this little baby crying the whole night!! (ya i was in the kids ward since i've been seeing the doc since i was a kid). i had like 3hrs of sleep. zzzzzz


so they dun want jumping up and down and causing trauma to it.

ah the NTU stabbing and suicide cases. Tsk tsk. Always knew studying was hardwork. What's worse is wasn't the student in engineering? EEE right?

thoughst i had when i heard it:
1. Oh attempted murder and suicide case in NTU?
2.I've friends in there! (then i remembered all of them were on attachments or most of them anyway and i believe most of them were capable enuff to slug an emo person with a knife without fatal injuries

Well if u ksers and tkers etc are feeling depressed in NTU, talk to me!! (i can even find it in me heart to give u an extra grope *evil laughter*

well such cases of depression will prob happen more often. Why?

a) Small country with not enough jobs churning out mroe and more students with striaght A results.
b) not enuff job = more stres
c) more stress = can't find jobs for months = depression
d) depression = suicidal / murderous intentions

of course not that it means a straight A student means he/she will be successful in the job mkt. I mean there are some true born asses out there with straight As but piss everyone off with their attitudes = IQ but no EQ = ur dead.

Sometimes i just can't trust what my brain is doing. What i see and what my brain receives just don't match up at times. guess that's what tiredness doe huh?

so here are a few of the weird things my eyes and brain have experienced

1) Billy Bombers--> Seen as Baby Bombers! (i know i was like wtf heard of children soldiers but baby suiciders? ...shook my head and lol billy bombers. think it was the bright red neon lights sign board affecting my brain)

2) SOmeone put Singing as a hobby on HER resume: --> sleep deprived brain saw as STRIPPING. my heart did stop for a moment lol (now dun even think of any lewd remarks abt this!!!)

there was this client who wanted us to strip the female candidates to check for any tatoos but alas we couldn't do it lol (*gives the old chee ko pek look*)

That's all i can remember for now but i'm sure there were a few other instances.

Isn't this amazing??? 3-4 posts in a week alone??? sudden burst of guilt i guess...after seeing my cousin's childhood friend's blog in which she blog almost like every single day for the last 3 years. oh the shame i feel. then again i guess char bos to tend to blog more.

hmm lately the music on my blog's isn't working. tsk. eventaully i shall have to fix it...maybe next year or so.

Dawn of War 2 ROCKS!!! It's akin to company of heroes for the single player. but u get to choose wargear etc. U only geet to play as space marines in the single player so that leaves u multi player to discover the other 3 races: eldar, Orcs and tyranids. The story is of coourse easier to understand if u've read about the dark and grim universe of warhammer 40k before.

multi player is just like OMG fucking cool. units gain exp where they deal more dmg etc. U can choose 1 race and have an option of 3 leaders each with their own unique strengths. (plus leaders and units get to buy different gear which costs resources for different situations).

it's far different from the gameplay in dow1 that will cause some to love it some to hate it. for me i love both. guess that rates for the players' reviews ranging from 1/10 to 10/10.

I will be interested to see how pple in demoniod share the game. Since u need a steam account with a cd code to even play the game. ( i know yh will definitely tell me how he does it)

all in all, i highly recommend buying it. of course do make sure ur comp fits the recommended requirements. Reqs arent as high as say mass effect, but it still requires a decent comp to run it. (next game to buy: Dragon Age: Origins in Nov 2009. the spiritual successor to BG) *starts drooling)

btw, yh's blog abt the tackling issues if there were global disasters (zombie invasion, alien invasions etc) was pretty hilarious. i can just imagine pple chasing me for all the extra fats i store lol. (meal for the day: victor). whereas lucky bastards like ivan will get away because he's so skinny....i mean who will want to eat him? (unless they like pak ku teh)

in those worst case senarios, i'm pretty sure if ivan turned into a cannibal it shld be np for him. i mean he doesn;t like veg and if no veg + shortage of meat, nearest meat source = human flesh = ivan = cannibal. complex equation i know.

of course in such situations, it will be survival of the fittest so pple like hx shld have np surviving. then again i guess pple might band together, a bunch of not so strong pple gather to form a band.

of course in singapore, i'm pretyt sure most pple will bs each other. i mean it's prob due to the education system and extreme rat race society we live in. of course 1st ones to get bs are prob those perm army enciks.

If u use the kitchen the most with the other roomie, at least be responsible for the cleaning up u bitch. No use talking abt locals' behaviour when yours isnt any better. Disgusting locals? well same to u. No wonder pple say singaporeans are spoilt. I mean she's a classic case. Leaving her own mess for others to clean up when she leaves shanghai. Btw will, if u see her in NTU, mention her pics look like she has a moustache. Fugly looking pics those were in her blog. But i shall not be so mean lah. I'm no sunshine myself and my pics aren't good also in my blog. At least i can be proud of my character unlike some hypocrites who say one thing but actions contradict themselves.

As ever my opinion on humanity goes ever lower. (in this case i'm like yh. I fully expect mankind to be extinct in say abt 200yrs from now or so max).

An idea just came to me.

When people mention trespassing in relation to blogs, is it really binding to say blogs are private?

Let's face it folks, when u blog, it's on the internet. Unless you password protect your posts ( my cousin did that the last time) or your entire blog, you are making your blog a public viewing. I mean sure you don't advertise it like those bloggers on Stomp etc but it's still out in the open.

So my question is this, when say people flame your blog, can you really say they are trespassing? after blog's address mostly or always start with www.( world wide web). so if it's on the world wide web, doesnt it mean you are sharing it to the world?

Granted that might not be the intention of the blogger, but i would think as long as you post anything on the internet, it should be considered open to all for comments etc UNLESS u password protect your posts, comments or for those sticking to the older traditions, stick to the writing it in your diary.

So what are your views Ladies and Gentlemen? (the thoughts that come to my head when studing for exams). Btw, your answers might actually help me in my studies since 1 of the chapters is abt the effect of technology on the English Language.

So we went baby sitting baby visiting this morning just b4 lunch. Stay 1 hr to play with the ball ball baby! She's growing like a weed. and her little tummy's always so rounded after she's been fed.

The Ah Shuk. No little one, ur ah shuk's "boobs" don't have milk so stop opening your mouth. lol. It was only after holding her i realised how come her diaper felt a bit wet? She pooped and urinated. enff said lol. Somehow i dont think u pple will be interested in hearing how babies' poop looks like do u? or the cleaning up process?

After being cleaned and fed..yes fed again, she's 1 jolly happy baby! High Five Grandma!

She's also quite spoiled!!! She only goes to sleep when u carry her ard, walk here and there but once u put her in the bed...she wakes up within 5mins.

We were carrying her for like 20mins then she stretched and gave out a mighty yawned, smiled a bit at us. (FYI the Ah Shuk was gently giving her a tummy rub and arm massage too). Then eyes closed sleepily and she was like KO-ed!!!

logical decision: decided to put her in a craddle. BUT...30secs later eyes popped right open, started stretching or probably vainly trying to get up (with 4 pairs of eyes watching her). Sudden;y from KO-ed baby to Super awake fussed up baby. lol.

This kid is going to be trouble when she grows up man....*seriously considering tying her to me with my skipping rope next time when she comes to stay over when she's like age 2 to 7yrs old*

of course during her growing up period NO ONE FROM BC IS COMING NEAR HER. Don't want her picking up certain habits from certain members.

(imagines little katherince with hx's violence, ivan's ks-ing/koping of food, zy's emoness, will's (ok fine will isn't a bad person if u exclude his dota Tk and kses). *shudders*

When i was PK-ing earlier this week (half day PK), i encountered a very interesting sight which almost made me cringe and laugh at the same time.

Outisde my office there's this Goddess of Mercy temple, so every 15th i think of the month, its very busy with a lot of stall selling flowers. So this time when i was walking to the bus stop, I heard this very loud commotion. Initally i thought it was those sellers hawkering their wares, cookpots etc (ya there are also some of those in ard the temple area)

However, upon closer inspection it appeared to be 1 flower seller (an old fat Aunty) shouting at some person. Couldn't make out the person since it was very crowded. U know how Buddhist pple are, devoted. and during that period of the month it's always crowded. But i digress.

Anyway this old aunty was cursing like a sailor in chinese. words like CB TMD etc etc flowed out of her mouth. And she ended with the words: "careful when u cross the street!!! dun say i dun warn u" (translated from chinese) guo ma lu yao xiao xin. bia suo wo mei jing gao ni. (x2). That was after the person baited her by saying : "fat aunty, still dare scold so much vulgarity", not very sophisticated but it did the trick, the aunty's face went black.

I'm not sure if she noticed but her vulgar outburst drew chuckles from bystanders. (including me) . Did she know she was making a fool of herself? People who can't control their emotions always make fools of themselves. I guess it's easier for females to lose it since they are the more emotional sex.

If our courts of law or parliament were filled with people who can't control their emotions, why we would be just like politicians in Taiwan where it's so common for the "law makers and debaters" to take their shoes and throw it at people on PUBLIC TV.

Such easily emo-fied people or emo-ers should have never tried being politicians. I mean people were laughing and saying is this Taiwan's so called poltical system? it's a joke. Hell u dont see this in USA or Singapore.

No one's going to take u seriously if u anyhow scold vulgarities at a stranger. I wonder if that aunty knew what a fool she was making of herself.

She /He who makes a fool out of herself /himself ought to be pitied.

It's like in a fight. The person who loses his cool will have a higher chance of losing the fight. Imagine say a raving person vs a collected calm fighter. True, the lunatic might be stronge, anger increases str, but his attack will leave holes in his defences. The calm fighter can with patience and skill exploit that to swiftly slit the person's throat. GG.

To find someone that i can debate politely with is so hard. What i found in him? baseless insults and accusations. Haha...maybe i shld debate with my lecturer or tutor. But that one i know i will sure get trashed. and they wouldn't give me any chance to attack nor would i want to since i respect them greatly.

Truth to tell i was also getting bored. It's no use arguing with such a dummy. I say A expecting an answer and he goes to pose qn B instead.

I guess it was my fault u know? I did go in there wanting to fan the flames of conflict. I guess it was the thrill of seeing my efforts being successful and having such an idiot pick up the bait that made it such an entertaining experience. Fine i purposely baited him ok? Sorry lor.

U know what's more pitiful abt NKW? If he really did offer a reasonable argument pointing out and rebutting my points fairly, i would prob have congratulated him and apologised to him. I do respect pple but not those who hurl insults like a sailor without thinking properly.

So the end game begins. What a great pity indeed and just when i was having so much fun and laughter. I do believe it's the Oct 25th post. It's easy to spot. LONG LONG LONG post with words in bold. To cut the story short, This blogger (hence forth referred to person A) was commented on the lifestlye on Cheena pple when someone (person B) commented on her comments. (that sentence might give some pple a headache).

so A & B were having an absolute fabulous row/ war of words. Great entertainment i tell you. Then a certain NKW or was it NWK? watever his nick name was butted in sprouting wildly inappropriate words which threatened to degrade the great argumentative fun i was having into an old boring insulting hurling festival.

Oh no! i couldn't allow that. So i rather diplomatically told him such name callings etc were unnecessary and let the 2 debaters carry on with their slug fest. I mean i wanted their hot battle to carry on. I wasn't going to let someone spoil the fun i was having!!! I mean come on!! there were even other pple voicing their opinions (prob her friends and 1 or 2 strangers), how rare is that to see such heated passion in a blog? (if u want to see passion ask me to blog abt famous amos cookies and transformers at the same time *starts drooling*)


and this foolish little mortal actually rudely dragged me into argument by wild accusations. What made me laugh was his numerous mistakes, (stating he knows literary devices to a Double Degree to be Major in English Language and Literatuer is like asking zy to die 5 times in dota without getting emo aka sucidal).

So with the goading provided by Cheena Boy aka Mr Nipple man aka William, i proceeded to oh so diplomatically rebutt most of his points. (could haev done more but i thought my post was long enough).

Victor: Alignment = Chaotic Neutral

Chaotic neutral charaters believe that there is no order to anything, including their own actions. With this as a guiding principle, they tend to follow whatever whim strikes them at the moment. Good and evil are irrelevant when making a decision. Chaotic neutral characters are extremely difficult to deal with. Such characters have been known to cheerfully and for no apparant purpose gamble everything they have on the roll of a single die. They are almost totally unreliable. Lunatics and madmen tend toward chaotic neutral behavior. ( i'm not a lunatic or madman though lol)

The Wannabe Hero

Whether it be taking all the leavers items, farming up until late game and getting Beyond Godlike all of a sudden, or posting hundreds of replays on Dota-Allstars.com as hans2; this guy will go out of his way to get the phatest of lewt, highest amount of XP etc. He will probably not help you in a gank unless he's 100% sure he'll get a kill and make himself look good. Wait til late game and let him carry the team.These guys could be a blessing come the 50th minute mark. Or if not then they're as useful to the team as 3 Lothar's Edge's on a Stealth Assassin. Hey, what can I say? You play to win, you play to look good infront of everyone.

Strategy: Deny and harass until he gets pissed off and ragequits. If he stays then applaud the other players on his team and he'll also get pissed off.

Preferred Heroes: Clinkz, Clinkz, Clinkz, Naix

Comments: occassionally can be applied to MR Emo when emoness lvl is 18.


The Rambo

Step 1:
Ever seen guys who will rush into a fray of 5 enemy heroes and die ( yes we do by the nick of THX)

Step 2: then start spamming words to the effect of "ZOMG NOOBS YOU DIDN'T HELP ME!!!! (Rambo has left the game). (k THX doesn't leave he just repeats step 1)

These guys have a seriously difficult time figuring out when a gank is coming, what minimap pings mean, why 5v1 is not odds to be proud of etc. My advice to these guys: "Stay the hell away from casinos." Often they're colorblind (I kid you not I got a friend on Bnet who is colorblind and gets confused when he sees the minimap) or they're still between being a noob and being an average player.Strategy: Let him feed!Preferred Heroes: Centaur, Bristleback

Comments: *drum roll* PAstor Teo springs to your mind instantly doesn't he? of course he doesn't quit...and doesn't swear at us (he casues emoness lvl to rise to lvl 16 though if on same teamwith mr emo) And of course our mr rambo is moore rambo-er than that. heck he doesnt use tankers to die. heroes like Phantom.lancer, viper, AM etc weak hp heroes do tend to pop up in his selection. The Newbie

A newb and a noob are too different things. A newb is a new player who will contribute to the team and follow orders and generally ask question which will make him a better player. A noob is someone who has played for over a year and still get owned by everyone and spams in chat and ragequits after dying. Newbies should be treated with care and caressed... Maybe not caressed but you should all help these people out and give them pointers.

Strategy: Tell him that to win the game all you have to do is reach the enemy fountain. (I ain't joking, it's actually worked for me once. Yes, I am slightly sadistic.)

Preferred Heroes: Stealth Assassin, Sniper

The Silent Veteran

These are the ones to watch out for. During pre-game chat they'll say very little. After getting a triple kill they'll say nothing. Even after getting Beyond Godlike they still won't gloat or show off the fact. Why don't they speak much? Because they're so good that they're used to owning and also they're too jaded to speak to random people off the internet.

Strategy: Either run or gank.
Preferred Heroes: Any

Comments: Occassionally i'm this. or rather i used to be it. William too if he wants it. BUt now since i'm plaaying less dota...


The Leader

Usually a player will start pinging ganks and typing "b" or "push" into team chat. These people are the leaders and generally have a good strategic look on things.

Leaders are vital to victory during a game.Either that or they're power tripping. You be the judge.

Strategy: If you find out who's calling the shots on the enemy team, gank him while a lone hero on your team does a blind push and then retreats. He'll be too busy typing and signalling for everyone to gank that he'll be vulnerable for about 5 seconds. And if you actually believe this piece of advice then I recommend also getting Agannim's Sceptre on Naix.

Preferred Heroes: Techies

Comments: Czy, william and i. (only applys to zy if he doesnt suffer an emo hemorrhage. Pple like us have to really flood the screen with "b" or "push" when the "rambos hx" and "newbies ed" are in the game. It's more like ED!!! HX!!! BACKK!!! B!B!B! *player hx,ed just got killed by enemy player, Double kill!!!* *moanful and resigned sigh by teammates*

The Quitter

These people are defeatist in nature. Your team may lose all its outer towers and one inner tower and these guys will be the first to say: "GG." They'll also be the first to quit after an entire lane full of rax has been owned. These people have lost the fight before it's even started so the best thing to do is to run back to fountain once they've just been owned and ragequitted.

That way you can call first dibs on their nice items

Strategy: Gank him a few times and it'll be 4v5.

Preferred Heroes: Any

Gotta love these guys. The exact opposite of the Quitter, these people will stay til the very bitter end and will often be seen defending the lone Throne all by himself against 5 enemy heroes. Give these people a compliment since they're a dying species. Heck give em a war medal since they probably fought in the trenches of World War 2 in a previous life

Strategy: Poor lad. Go easy on him unless he's owning your entire team using the leavers items.
Preferred Heroes: Any

Comments: I'm usually this. i swear! but as william says, once i'm 0-5...i do get emo. sure i whine and such..BUT I never quit. hell...just last week i had a 1-9 potm game. GODS!!!! DEATH BEFORE DISHONOR!!!!!

The 12-Year Old

"ROFL PWNED LMAO!" Yep, these kids have just hit puberty and have raging hormones. They should probably be venting this rage on Counter-Strike but here they are on Dota. During pre-game chat they'll be saying all the stupid goofy stuff. The good thing about kids is they're easy to own due to their slower brains and bad judgement.

Strategy: Do what I do in real life. Ignore little kids. There are more productive ways to spend your time.

Comments: I love irritating such fookers.

Case 1:
Once i irritated him so much he challenged me to call him on his hp and provided me with his no. After the usual i belong to so and so gang blah blah blah. Counter challenge: I called his bluff, gave him my no, and my name (no bluff since i'm they are all bluster only) and told him to call me if he had the balls.

End story? He didn't. left irc after i riddculed his immaturity and pitiful bluffs.

Case 2: Ivan asked me to help him last time i remember. we were in the same game. neatly sliced diced and riddiculed our fellow teammate who was so so obnoxious. Think ivan forgot abt it. (to give u a hint ivan, it was the guy who with his friend who asked me something abt why use a different word when the same word works or some shit like that. My reply was: " why do u think there's a thesaurus?" *hmm...dare to challenge a person doing a double major in English.. 不之量力. * I love doing that to their kind. Puncuture the wind out of their pompous ass.

The Coward
See trouble. Run to fountain.These guys are as useful to your team as a chair is to a whale.Need I say more?

Strategy: Gank them from behind. This confuses them as the fountain is also in the direction of danger for them.
Preferred Heroes: Stealth Assassin, Sniper, Clinkz

Victor: " all right ivan, if u and me it will be us 2 against them 3 but i knwo we can win let's go!" Victor rushes out, gets decimated skinned and gutted alive. Looks back to see ivan half way back to the fountain with full hp.... -_- *screams a very loud sound of frustation*

The Know-nothing Know-it-all

"STFU NOOB. I know what I'm doing. Dagon on Juggernaught is the way to go." ( u have to love this comment guys)

Ok so they managed to own a noob using their lame build and from then on they stuck to it. No matter what you do, they'll still stick to their original decision and get their Agannim's Sceptre for Phantom Assassin or Eul's for Naix.

Strategy: Tell them that getting the Dagon for Juggernaught was a nice idea and also tell them they should get a Mystic Staff so they can spam Dagon.

Comments: Almost busted my sides laughing out this one.

The Unaware

So you just got ganked by 2 enemy heroes while your ally is beside you creeping. They still don't know what happened. These players will frustrate you to no end. Their slow reflexes mixed with their lack of sight makes them a major liability.

Strategy: Blinks and stuns. They won't know what's going on. (*shudders* can anyone remember the time when ed 1st fought against a Phantom Lancer? i really really really wanted to cry during that game.)

Comment: God alone knows how true this is when u play with/against ed. any slower in his reflexes it will seem that FV did his ulti. But i'm sure ed will get better....i think...hope...in abt the time it takes for Warcraft IV to come out.


The Dual Bracer IdiotStart game.

Buy two bracers. Repeat for every single game.Also known as the Quad Circlet Hobo or the Mass Branch Bandit.Be careful or else they will jump out at you with +8 DAMAGE!

Strategy: Beware early to mid game!

Comments: Sometimes i see ivan buying this i can sigh. But this is good for very low hp NON STUNNERS /WW heroes. for ivan...he gets this regardless of what heroe he gets lol.

The Power Tripper

Also known as the Pub Stomper. These guys are extremely pro that they're currently playing in leagues, inhouse leagues, etc. They know how to use every hero and every item in Dota and all the basics like last hitting and animation canceling and juking etc. and can do all that without any effort at all.But when it's a full moon watchout! Out of nowhere they'll join a pub game or a noobs only game and use all their power and abilities to completely pwn everyone while juggling eggs at the same time.Why? Because complete and utter domination makes them feel good. Bastards!

Strategy: Pray to god they have 4 feeders on their team.

Comments: Does the name Jon rings any bells? Complete utter omfg-nish ownage to whichever team had him. 1v3 heroes and he still can kick ass and come out with a decent amt of hp. Too bad he stopped playing. Heck...he made us look edward-ish. He probably stopped because we were too noob for him lol.

Business men...most are crooks and liars. I mean i'm sure there are some honest Burmese ard but so far....havent seen 1 yet.

Good learning experience seeing how business is done there. But ya ya..there's not much for guys to buy there. unless ur GF loves to buy jewels or decorative stuff then ok fine u have something to buy. Did u know that almost everything there can either be paid by the local currency (kyats or something like that?) or by USD?

I tell u if GH went there he would be rich! so would ivan. Local currency short form is KS! Kyats or something like that (KS).

Bascially 1000 KS = S$0.85. My Aunt is a damm good at bargining prices down. she can almost cut the price down to 50% of the original price. POWER!!!

Anyway the roads there are damm bumpy. Never have a very full meal b4 u travel on the roads. the capital area isn't that bad (still bad but ok lah acceptable...barely). But the outlaying areas where the training centres are....bo wei gong. I would like u guys to admire the skill it took to take a lot of the photos i will upload later on facebook when the van was moving and shaking with such frequency.

Anyway since the rest are chioing me for dota now i will hve to blog again later

Oh ya. I'm a uncle again! My bro's little daughter is SOOOOOO cute. more on that next time. (u guys know my blogging frequency so it can mean anything from 1 week to 1month) don;t hold your breath folks!

Talk abt SUPER LONG overdue post. This post was suppose to be on Feb 2008. No idea why i didn't even post it.


Amazing isn't it? almost 3 weeks of no blogging and no one came to bother me abt it at all!!! can it be true?so let's get on with the overdue (as usual) updates ye?
so 1st thing 1st = HAPPY CHINESE NEW YEAR!!!
2nd thing = HAPPY VALENTINE"S DAY!! (for the lucky bastards = Ivan, GH and Richard FOr richie and ivan...ok lah know them so long can't really bear to curse them to singlehood. but for GH....*utters long curse against GH to be a bachelor once more) and HAPPY FRIENDSHIP's DAY ( for the unlucky bastards= (all the rest of us bachelors).

CNY! Ah the year of nice little red hongbaos with even nicer not so little notes in them. ka ching! I didn't even count the amt of $$ i had. Just passed it to my mom. (let's spell the word filial together 1 2 3 ! F I L I A L).
Anyway eve of CNY's steamboat at my ah mah;s house was much quieter than usual. Bro and Cindy went off to in-laws place. Aunt Wendy and Family (whooping number of 10 pple) celebrated on their own. Kiddies were with them of course. So the kids table (anyone below 35 and/or unmarried) shrunk to a mere 5 pple. (andy claire yiyu simon and i) = LOTS of FOOD for us
Abalone was splendid! Must be Aunt Yen that made it nicer by adding a dash of chilli and onions.
So nothing much on CNY eve except the usual collection of $$.
Only ended the day with sending my cousin claire to her bf's house. I must say that bf...not very good lah. Ask the GF to come all the way to his house..at least stand nearby to escort her to the condominium lah! place so dark and quiet. NB!! IF anything happened to my cousin i would have made him a real enunch. Somemore my cousin was ill that day. Stupid girl.

Spirit's kinda low. guess i'm still feeling emo huh? heart break heart break lor. What truly irks me is that i waited 5 months hoping in vain. All the time of waiting and the little twist of fate which so happens she finds her BF in that time. 5 months of hope turn to ashes in an instant. actually the relly frustrating thing is tht this is the 2nd? 3rd time EXACT or almost exact same thing happeningto me. and to think i had a line of activites lined up too for when she came back to sg. ah the irony here can literally kill a person. poof. so much for spending hrs surfing veggie websites (there good veggie/famous stalls at my work area too) for good stalls to go to. blah. Does this explain why i've been moody lately b4 lunch william? The worst part is talking to her pretending everything's the same as it ever was. HAIZ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. THink i will ignore her till i rearrange myself fully once more. Pretending isn't helping me get over this.

and an example of work which irritated me tremendously today. some old woman telling me her sob story of can't find work etc etc and pls help her find a job. Of course i gave the standard yes yes answer. But SERIOUSLY, i'm not really in the mood these days to be the one comforting pple k?

of course such saddness did lead me to analyse my character deeper. after all it didn't make sense on why 1 more failure shld have such a huge negative effect on mr overlord here. therefore upon deeper self analyse (including long walks up and down my garden , a lovely garden u must admit), i realise the key pt was that i was kinda lonely in a way i think. Don't get me wrong, i kinda "love" my friends, u know the kses, multi arrowings, emoness, outings etc etc, but could be my TOTAL UTTER LACK of social life in UniSIM. I mean after all 1-3x per week lessons aren't really good foundations for new friendship. also considering that everyone or almost everyone comes straight from work makes it seem like everyone is on life support just to come for lessons. I've seen rocks showing more attention at times. 3rd pt will be oh the fucking age difference. Is studying the enlgish language such a chore that 99.99% of young pple my age avoid it? Of course maybe working as a perm part timer helps in a way that it takes my mind off personal issues.

I do admit i feel a slight pang of jealousy? no..envy when i see pple in NTU, NUS with new friends. LOL especially at those graduation ceremonies. Take pictures with 1 huge brunch of friends. At the way my life is going, by the time of my ceremony, haha i htink the only one taking photos with me will be my parents...no skip that...i wouldn't even ask them to waste their time coming. okok MAYBE 1-2 "friends" will be with me. oh well...i guess i will just get my scroll or watever it is and dump it into my car and drive the 5mins ride home i guess.

ah well, let those staunch Christians (hx will be one soon lor!!!) will say, I leave my fate in the Lord's hand. I wouldn't really call myself a staunch Christian..i follow the beliefs the teachings i guess to be kind helpful, be a good person, but i can't really be a staunch believer i think. Could be the cynical and apathy attitude that's inbuilt to me i think. I'm an idealistic realist. I want to hope for the best, i wish for the best for pple humanity etc. But in my heart i think humankind's more or less doomed alrdy. For every 100 good pple in the world, there's at least 5000 evil pple lurking ard. Demoralising isn't it?


(i think taking care of my newborn neice from October onwards will take my mind off my troubles, but the problem will of course still remain)

and now when i need music, the fucking blog showing error which i can't have my soothing FFX music. wah lieu. when it rain it pours.

anyway today's my chinese birthday (according to my grandma who memoriesd not only all the relatives chinese and english birth dates but also the telephone numbers)


So 生日快乐张家平. (last 3 chinese words are my chinese name of course, yes i know i don't use them often). If only i can feel happy when i'm alone.
