Ben's wedding Lunch EVENT!!! Anyway photos of the event which was fantastic. 1st time i saw a chinese tea ceremony as shown in those Old TV drama series. For $24 net i think, was a main dish and buffet of salads, fish and soup and desert. YUMMY!

Ironically as usual, 1 day after i started exercising again, my parents took me to a buffet... zzz...Didn't want to go but my mom said:" take u to expensive buffet, still dun want to go..u shld thank us for bringing u along..." So bo pian, tag along.

So once moretoday! EXERCISE!!! TMA 02 due today. 1500 words. completion: 950words. 600 more to go.

MS word using it too often causes spelling to deterioate. No wonder hx took up scrabbles. Maybe i shld too. Of course I will make sure all my words are in the DICTIONARY!!! unlike some pple. can give 4 words not in dictionary...turkish words too. zai! pro....*at cheating* lol

i just realised how darn complicated my family tree might be..
just realised that i might have more than 38 cousins! We didn't count my half cousins. (the 2 kids of lydia and rachael?)

My mom tried to explain to me. Something like my grandpa's brother's kids. So those kids have their own kids which in turn become my cousins as well... though like half cousins. To try and make it simple, it;s like having the same great great grandpa but different parents or something like that.

who knows man..i might somehow be super distantly related to each member of the BC. hahaha

scary scary...just came back from my grandpa's birthday party (mom's side)
so let's place the facts on the table

a) this is the bugger irresponsible grandpa who abandoned my grandma (ahmah) who was his 1st wife.



b) he took a 2nd and 3rd wife

c) I have never met him b4 till today. In fact today i only went because my mom "persuaded" me and i thought might as well meet up with my cousins and more cousins whom i was sure i had never met b4



So let's get to the main story shall we?


all my cousins (which i was familiar with) came, or most of them like 97% of them. So it was a pretty good meeting. My grandpa's house is huge! Ok actually it's my aunt's house but from what i heared he bought it or something for them. It has a swimming pool, it's a bungelow. hell..it even has a games room complete with a pool table and table tennis table. It's really a BIG BIG HOUSE!



ANyway my aunt uncle (from the 2nd wife i think) has 2 kids. One is this super super irritating inquisitive boy of 12yrs who will bombard u with questions non stop. and 1 is a shy 10 yrs girl. ANyway in the games room...there's a PS2, and a PS3! blooody helll.,,rich pple.



anyway my elder cousin gabriel (2nd branch aka from 2nd wife) decided to make a family tree. Only thing lacking is from our side since he alrdy did the 2nd and 3rd branch. anyway together claire andy gabriel and a newly know cousin called melissa (19yrs old), we found out all together there are a total of 38 cousins from the 1st - 3rd branch. (includes uncle richard's (1st born of the 1st branch!!) 2 kids from the 1st wife.



38 cousins!!! (includes me) that's like fucking huge!!!



i remember reading 1 article last time in ST abt a family of 100 which won some award or something. BLAH!!! only 100.... small fry lah! think abt 38 cousins alone only. If u count all the uncles and aunties? grandparents =2 or 4 if u includethe 2 other wives too. PLUS we have a total of 4 nephews and neices from 1st -3rd branch



so just the grandparents +cousins + nephews and neices = 46 alrdy leh
i'm sure aunties and uncles will make it more than 100 alrdy. ok maybe slightly less than 100.

and that's only my mom's side. If you count my dad's side....



Maybe shld call straits times...lol. Anyway i'm assigned to make a family tree of the 1st branch. And we would all form a group in facebook.



I guess i can't really hate my grandpa. Patriarchal system. Once again stunned by the family wealth of my other relatves. haha and pple say i'm rich. Still seeing how the rich live, makes me more humble i guess. BEWARE PRIDE MORTAL!



Yiyu gave me $50 MPH book vouchers as a birthday present. She's always such a kind cousin. haha. Of all my cousins, i'm of course closest to those i meet weekly or at least once a month (andy, claire, yiyu &simon). basically all from the 1st branch. except the "elders" like tina lina ben and amy who are all at least 10yrs older than i. But we are still a close knit family

rather than those cousins i meet only like once every yr or later than that. some today i've only met today. *shrugs*

interesting family i have huh? haha. wonder what MT..no..shld be called MH now...will say abt this when i tell her this when i see her next time. Most interesting.

successful outing on wednesday. Went to watch I now pronounce you chuck and larry. It's 1 hell of a funny movie. Both of us laughed so much. I highly recommend it And becausse it was a weekday, plenty of space even though we bought 4.15pm tickets at 4.20pm.

because of a slight miscommunicati0n, we were a bit late. Ok she was a bit late...quite late and i was early. (meeting time at 3.45 but we met at 4.10pm lol.) haha but oh while i guess waiting for a female is different than waiting for a male who;'s late. (besides thx to ivan...i'm sure most BC members are very very patient pple, habit cultivated during secondary/JC lan-ing days)

So we missed abt 5 mins of the movie. (i didnt' know lido had a threatre on the 2nd floor, and neither did she). So after movie, went to far east plaza for dinner but shop either a)closed down or b) not opened that day. So in the end went to Beauty World and had vegetarian food at a restaurent. (SHE LIKES PASTA and PIZZA!)

And after dinner sent her home. Outing ended at abt 8.30pm. Sniff sniff she had to go home early to finish her report due at midnight. ARGH! there went my plan to take her to clark quey to enjoy the nice decorations there. Brought my camera but forgot to take photos.

Had a great and fun filled time. End of story. Truly enjoyable company unlike some pple i know *coughs and thinks of certain BC members* haha..nice spend company with a person 3/4 of the day without hearing a single swearword. lol. REFRESHING!

anyway today went to my grandma's house. OMG!! was it crowded today! everyone came besides yiyu. That included my newly married cousin Ben and his wife rachael and Tina and her brood (my super urber cute nephew and neice)

my ah mah cooked 2 full tables of all her best dishes. (French beans, FRIED chicken wings, belly pork, roasted white chikcen, curry fish, celary with prawns). scary thing was after everyone ate to their heart's content, there was enough food left that it looked enough for everyone to have another round.

my neice and nephew have grown so much since the lasgt i saw them 3 months ago...still as adorable as ever. My neice is awefully tall for her age i think. She's like 5 and alrdy 1.30m at least? and are kids getting smarter these days? Czy's sister is by no means dumb, in fact i think she's ppretty smart. My neice is no exception. and my 2 yr old nephew knows how to handle a dvd player/recorder. God...i mean when i was 2 i was prob like still learning how to speak/ walk. after all, my mom told me i only spoke/walked ard 2-3+ yrs old. (she was so worried abt tht she took me to see a doctor)


Haha..finally managed to interrogate my dear cousin claire abt her boyfriend. Love my uncle Bok's words. Why get 1 boyfriend only? get at least 2-3 others. Why stick with 1 bf? lol. I realise i truly love playing badminton. When i play it, it's like there's this instant surge of adrenaline flowing through me. Guess that's wat u call true love of the game huh? I don't get that surge of adrenaline when i play basketball. Maybe it's because i'm much better at badminton than at basketball.

haha maybe because in badminton, ivan's height doesn't really matter. I mean gods...playing basketbal against ivan is like argh!!! so fucking irritating.

Sniff sniff...no gifts on my birthdays from my friends. (besides czy who gave me a cute little ipod/hp pouch). These type of friends...even the buffet lunch was one which i treated. nb...Oh wait..hx and richard gave me a big cake! even though they mixed up my birthday and went to my mouse on the 11th!!! and called me at 1230am!!! after i was asleep for like an hr...and woke up my whole family. BAKA!

haha then again czy shld be the one complaining, we didn't get him anything (besides the brush which i'm sure he's using it to dust his keyboard) and even the dinner was free. (yh ivan and i did try to get him something but in the end couldnt decide on anything)

btw yh, czy said he's using the best keyboard and mouse that's available alrdy and he only uses a specific brand of headphones. So lucky we didin't get him any of those right?

In hindsight, Hx's the luckiest bugger. Dinner was mostly paid for (by me!!!) and he had free ice cream too.

End note: My grandparents and relatives gave me abt $400 in hongbao! WHEE!! and it's all mine so dun even think of getting treats!

a) CPF changes and ERP galleries being set up

don't know wtf PAP is doing. Forced to set up an annuity and if we die before all; the money is spent, it doesn't go back to our descendants (or relatives) but goes to the government? So that we can help support others? Hello? what makes them think we ourselves don't need the fucking money? LKY must be going senile to even suggest such a thing. In fact, he even leaked out the CPF info b4 his son made the annual speech. isn't that suppose to be under leaking classified information? I bet if other ministers did that, they would have been fired. If it was other countries, that person can kiss his career goodbye. Really, as if singaporeans aren't smart enough to think out on how to spend their $$$, and the government must poke their noses in other pple's business.

ERP..prices going up again. Idiots, wat makes them think that rising prices would result in lighter traffic? And so nicely, the ST must publish an article which says, with ERP, traffic is lighter, one day after the PAP made the announcement. What bullshit! People can see it's propaganda shit. Might as well put a ERP outside everyone's gate then. Bloody hell. I don;t respect a transport minister who doesn't take PUBLIC transport and dares to make stupid conclusions on the traffic areas. Like they say, with ERP (in the ST), traffic is lighter, if ur willing to fork out $10 a day. $10x 30 =$300 a month for travelling on the roads. This excludes patrol, maintaince of car.

Just so happens that they were having their CCA/ECA open house that day. SO IMPRESSIVE... See William break 1 wooden plank. I must say..the number of young females there....not bad. haha.

Sigh..i really miss the campus life. After lessons, have lunch with friends, form new friendships since after all u meet up so often, same class etc etc. Makes me envious of ppel in ntu nus etc etc.

Sigh...after my lessons at uni sim, there's really no such thing as bondingg or friendship..not really. Ppple there are so much older than me in my course, after lessons everyone goes off. Even if they talk, wat can i talk abt with them? vastly different views, topics, areas of interest. Lessons only once a week. It's a sad lonely existence.

after all, after 1 semester at uni sim, there's no one there i would even call a friend at all. Tinge of sadness i'm feeling now. This means i can't copy tutorials. haha...not that anyone would be able to copy 1200 - 1500 words. But still can't leech/share ideas. *rolls eyes*

anyway genting trip was very successful. Things i've learnt during the trip:

a) The HX creature can sleep anywhere, anytime and though untested, probably in any position regardless of the environment. We still have not tested if he can sleep underwater though. Further experiements will be conducted.

HX creature has impressive luck at casinos unlike the victor creature (see pg 1 section (f). Winning 60 free games from the jackpot machine.

WARNING: When Provoked this creature releases HIGHLY TOXIC POISONOUS FUMES from its rear-end!! Contact with such fumes have been known to cause prolong periods of suffering which includes either or all of the mentioned symptons: blindness, unconciousness, severe muscular and nerves damage(spasms). and ultimately death. (death caused by creatures "suciding" rather than linger any longer in close proximity to the fumes).

I've it on good authority this could be the latest weapon in bio warfare!! GOD HELP US ALL!!

Update: creature releases toxic fumes regardless of it's state of nature, whether it's provoked, sleeping or playing a human game called Scrabbles or in a state of rest. Approach with caution. Besides it's toxic fumes, creature has been known to display EXTREMELY VIOLENT behaviour. DEFINTELY NOT A LOVEABLE CREATURE!!!! haha!




b) the CZY creature requires 20hrs of sleep a day but is a very good singer. Extremely irritable when deprived of sleep. Loves to wear slippers 99% of the time. YET to see him/it in shoes after more than 5yrs of friendship.





c) coming close behind are the Richard and Ivan creatures (ok richard excused because he was sick)

d) HX creature travels/walks at speeds of 40km/min. runnign speed has not been recorded though known to have overlapped the czy creature.





e) The BC members are very enthu in bringing snacks. Amt of space for snacks far outstrips the space allocated to essentials like clothings etc





f) Victor creature can walk despite pretty intense pain in his foot (cheers!). He/It has also a very loud voice especially when he butchers a song during ktv sessions. He also has very impressive LACK of luck in casino games. Other BCC are quick to exploit his/it's losing streak by using the same machine after he/It loses and as a result they start winning. BLOODY HELL! Defensive Mechanism is to act gay towards the ivan creature. AND to SNORE loudly to cause sleep deprivation in other creatures. BUT DEFINITELY A CUTE AND LOVEABLE CREATURE. HAHAHAHAHAHAH!

g) William Creature sings not that bad too and is the most normal of the BC creatures. He/It's *gasp* almost normal!! practices TKD.



h) The YH creature devours food at an astonishing rate and walks almost as fast as the HX creature. Both creatures have been noted for their lack of patience/sympathy with their fellow BCC (bachelor club creatures) or other short legged supreme overlords. Piling weight on those 2 marginally reduces their speed (barely)

i) Richard Creature: Impressive sleeping rate. Singing voice VERY SOFT compared to Victor Creature. YEt another almost normal BCC.

J) FINAL PT: THERE"S NO SUCH ENGLISH WORD CALLED DAVET! never trust handphones dictionary.

It seems like everyone in my family (from both sides of the family tree) have these 2 problems. Ah...the joys of growing old.

On to other news:

1) haha.. looks like in the end my MOS free ticket for 2 is going to be a souvenir in my house. Tad bit disappointing since i've never been to MOS b4 and i rarely club. A pity indeed

2) My "nerdy" but superbly smart cousin has gotten a GF. ARGH!! now i'm truly the only cousin on both sides of the maternal/paternal side of ok age to get a gf that doesn't have one. THE HORROR!! THE HORROR!! (this is especially true when my aunts all ask, victor where's ur gf? oh u dun have one yet?*breaks out in laughter*)

3) My other cousin Andy came back from Australia and he bought DONUTS!!! and various snacks. Such a great cousin. thsoe donuts were jut superb. And yes it's all been eaten up. so dun bother asking if there are any left

4) Medical test results are out! result is still above average (which isn't good news) something abt 0.07 higher than wat is acceptable. So must still keep watch on my diet. Then my uncles and aunties all called to ask abt it. (one called from china, the other from india). Well loved nephew indeed. So touched. *sniff sniff*

5) Took up dota-ing again. And i tell u..the noobs on lan/bnet in the whole f*king country, very disappointing bah. Come on pple. Since when did parents these days give birth to such losers/ whelps/ cowards? Then again i know most of these fools are young kids with no balls. so oh well.

Then again i've joined a channel which i must say, have pros in it!!! all of them dun leave when they have a game. But none of them have Jon's skill (when he was at his peak that is).

Random thoughts

1) how it must be wonderful to be rich. Easier to get married due to the fact u dun have a tight budget. Like those bloody superstars. Let's get married! Then go have the wedding in a damm castle which costs more than i would ever earn in my life (unless i strike toto and 4D and considering my luck, that's as much chance as GH winnning a mr popularity contest = 0.00000000000001 % chance)

2) 23 korean hostages taken by the ever stupid muslim militants. Oh ya, i'm sure if christians took 23 innocent looking muslims hostages, they would be crying jihads etc ec. I swear, how the hell did a religion like Islam ever produce such warped thinking? Religion's a funny think i guess.

I mean how in the militants' thick minds did they think that their God Allah, would ever say killing pple is part of religion. Can imagine militants saying to the angel: "I blew up myself and 100 innocent pple with me which included kids and women. Can i go to heaven now?"

Hx mentioned this and I TOTALLY agree with him. first get to know the person as a friend. Then ever so slowly, get to know her better and let things progress from there. Like what william is doing!! HX and i both agree he's doing the right things for now.

U guys are lucky. This means that i'm going to focus all my attention on the genting trip to take my mind off the rejection/grief/major frustations. This also means I'm going to organise another outing to vent off all these feelings. Bloody hell...

Best way to vent off grief is to keep busy. Computer/ outings here i come.
