I swear English language is one of the most fucked up boring subjects to study. OMFG! WHy are all the damm essays 1.5k -2k words??? Worst thing is that it's so cb-ish techinical and to link the essay to the qn...bua ta han...

and oh ya! my last 3 assignments, 2 of them are due on the same day! hallejulah!.

Anyway happy belated easter to u buggers. fine i'm 2 days late so sue me. Went to church on sunday with mom and bro. Not that bad, except I was sitting below the air-conditioner (remember hor! air-con is not the right word. must improve engrish). And wow...the guest speaker talked for 1hr straight non-stop. Didn't help that my stomach was rumbling by 1145am.

Positive note: met up with my cousins and there was a buffet lunch! (it was also their 4th aniversary btw).

Negative note: kind of irrtating my cousin's companions a pair of like 10 yr girls. U know they were telling one of those little kiddy stories (this one went with her saying one guy was duper smart and scoed 300/300 for PSLE etc etc) and I had to shoot off my smart mouth and poke a bit of fun at her. (her story also lasted for 10mins straight which i also commented on the duration)

The look she shot at me....Brrr...talk abt the look of death. CHilled my blood instantly. Since when did little girls learn to stare like that? (for those who watch naruto, it's like itachi's sharingan eyes). LOL.

So maybe the BC would have 2 pastors now. Pastors Cheong and Teo. Then again i'm the SOL (supreme overlord) so i guess i can't hold dual offices too.

Several Facts abt kids

a) They are smalll little meatballs marked fragile

b) They have no sense of personal safety:

eg: i) Climbing up the bedroom window till they are 2m above the ground and smiling all the way. ii) Jumping up and down on the bed 30cm away from the edge of the bed and constantly falling down and saved in the nick of time by the uncles and aunties looking after them

For your info: It takes 6 uncles and aunties to look after them for just 4 hours.

c) They can be violent......very violent:

eg: Slaughtering me 2v1 on the bed. abt 25kg kid bouncing up and down my tummy every 5secs for a full min and a 15kg kid punching my legs/face/everywhere. I admitted defeat in 20secs.

d) They have unlimited energy for 3-4hrs at a stretch b4 falling into a power save mode. This energy is used to terrorise their elders as mentioned in section (b) and to run around non stop for 3hrs straight. OR to blow a balloon (unsuccessful) for 45 mins straight without pausing for any breaks.

Tha'ts abt all i can say abt my nephew + niece. I do notice my niece can be pretty tomboy-ish and she kicks like a horse. How can someone so young kick so hard? Only almost 5yrs old and she's like 1.3m tall? (Me thinks she takes after her dad who's like 1.93m).

I just love the part when my cousin told me she protected her little bro from a bully who snatched his stuff in school like 1 yr back. Not only did she take it back, she also slapped the little bugger. ALL RIGHT!!! That's the way to go! So proud of her... (Ever since claire, i notice the neo females (ok there's only claire and micheala now) are quite violent.)

Therefore we have little bro hero worshipping young but not so little sister. aww...isn't it cute? THe ultimate punishment : Victor, help look after BOTH of them for the next 5 hrs ok? *long scream of despair)

Poor kids have not enuff money to eat, parents also very poor etc etc. MAIN FOCUS: the lady. not enuff money to send kids to sch BUT is expecting her *drum roll* 8TH child. Holy fucking shit...haven't they heard of protection? Most of them are catholics which forbid abortion but dude!!! i know u guys are scared of the future where the old outnumber the young and being a strain on society. BUT this doesn't mean u have to be a sow! I mean hell..even my grandma didn't have 8 kids.. OK...she had but that was a different era. besides my grandma could afford to give them food and education. The hubby might like to fuck...but still gods!!! WTF(not what the fuck but here it's WHERE the fuck) is their brains? U give birth to kids so they can come out starving in the world, possibly get converted to militants in the future, blaming the government for their lack of living standards etc etc.. or to put it simply = MORE TROUBLED KIDS/TEENS.

to put it bluntly, all guys like to have sex lah. BUT I'm sure most of us are responsible enuff/ smart enuff to know when to stop if we know we can't afford kids right? (most fortunate gh and ed have that good sense, if not imagine the carnage they would be creating now)

Sigh...so these kids make trouble for their governments and wat does the government do? They get scared, decide to focus the pple's attention on foreigner or some other issue, = NEIGHBOUR BASHING TIME!! Was just thinking of an outing with my parents for lunch a few weeks back. Even though it was just the old kopi thiam shops outside my house, i wore my bermudas and a presentable shirt. This brought to mind *drum rolls* IVAN.

Let's refute his comments.
1) i left his lane after dying with him and he asked me to leave him to solo. (we were lvl 3-4). Wah liao, dun blame me for ur lousy skills lor. Pfft...str hero can die so many times against ax..lousy...

2) Gh die die sucks at rk. i've not played a winning game when he plays rk with us. He just can't take criticism. He can scold ivan for playing badly but he himself can't get scolded. Lousy player at RK. even if he wants to practise rk, dying mutliple times in multiple games shld give u a hint that the hero isnt suited for u bah.
thank god he's at least good at sandking and maybe sa or bh.

Now to other matters:

everytime i think of hongxin as a pastor the image of Genjo Sanzo pops into mind. For the ignorant pple: He's a monk in the jap anime Gensomaiden Saiyuki. A monk that carrys & uses a gun(killing demons and threatening pple), smokes & drinks. (dun think he chases after girls). For hongxin, i picture him wearing a black robe, carrying a huge double bladed ax. Drinks a bit and chasing after girls and bullying the weak and defenceless. haha.

I noticed most of the girls i've tried dating/dated names all starts with "M". Let's go with their intials: MB (infatuation i admit), MC (failure), MS (utter complete failure), MT (on-going but doesn't seem that good now).

Notice the 2nd initial is going down the alphabetical order? so if MT doesn't work out..i still have the letters : U, V,W,X,Y,Z. So i still have chance anyway. After MZ (if there is one) i wonder what the next initials will be. Man..how do some pple make going out on a date sound so simple and easy. Just call the girl and viola! date done and settled.


Ah well since friday's a day i can't have the date, i might as well put it to good use shopping a birthday gift for my little cute nephew. I just wish he would stop trying to lick my arm everytime he sees me. It's fun for him..but i don't think my arm or his tongue is that clean. He's this little tiny meatball that's so cute to carry and cuddle.

That's the thing with little kids. They dun store their energy like adults do. They run all the way play with all their energy for 2-3hrs. After that: bo energy= 3-4hrs sleep. For some inexplicable reason, I'm in a pretty towering rage right now. there are a few reasons for that.

a) my dad just announced my younger cheong cousin (not the neo) has scored so many As in a lvls. then comes the usual blah blah blah, insult victor with his low grades, cousins better than u etc etc. Like i give fuck damm.. Ok so they score better than me, so what? As far as i care, Cousin A (let's not say names), as ZERO social manners. What do u think of a guy who brings his GF (for like 2-3months) to REUNION DINNER on CNY w/o informing the host? I mean sure, my aunt brings up smart kids, but truth to say, their manners leave alot to be desired.

b) It's raining. And i've to walk to class in the rain later on. FUCK! I hate getting wet in the rain. (unless it's with a pretty girl, then i dun mind the sacrifice)

c) MS actaully replied to my msn. Amazing what a few thousand miles in distance can do to establish better communications right? That 5 min conversation had more words than all the messages COMBINED we had over the last 2.5yrs. Seriously man...what type of friends are these? if u can even call them friends...

d) A LOT OF LEAVERS IN DOTA these days and NOOBSHITS too. (i never say ms heroes because i dun feel like report...wtf?? or i took ur bkb to play play only...was thinking to return but oops didn't know can't drop it.

U know i really feel like killing someone now....maybe after my lesson i will play dota. Choose my best hero and own some fuckers. U know they say writing down stuff is a way of expressing emotions and expelling them. It just doesn't work. Only thing i like in army was that u could hurl vulgarities non stop and u will feel better instantly. Not so at home. Must be gentlemanly.

In fact she's the smartest in the Neo side. (according to her exam results (o lvl and psle). SO that does excuses her occasionally demands. (1st thing after lunch she "asked" me to bring her the fruits tray so she didn't have to walk over to the table. Char bos...Can't wait to see what type of BF she gets..That guy would have to be an absolutely saint to tolerate her. (God bless his soul...)

my 2 cousins: Uncle Richard's family left very quickly on CNY's day. 1/2hr and Pff* off to more visiting. Other pic is a very unflattering slug like photo of my dear younger cousin whittering in the afternoon heat. She will prob kill me if she ever finds out i posted that photo. Evne though the aircon was working, it's a freakishly hot day. Realised that every CNY (the day itself) it has always been a nice and hot sunny day in the mornings- afternoons. Hmm...roasted human beings on CNY>)

Finally updated the photos for CNY 2007. So i can start blogging about that period of time. Usual stuff in the morning (breakfast at grandma's house). My aunt's chicken pies and cheese toasts are pretty awesome.

Afternoon went to my maternal grandma's house. Food wasn't as good, but *drools* the new year snacks.. (now trying to update the damm photo but blogger not responding). As the photo shows, both my cousins came wearing the same dress. Haha...the surprised look on each other's face was quite hilarious.

When families gather together during the weekends like mine do (at least for my maternal side), pple shld take note and cherish such gatherings.

Hard as it is to for me to say it, let's face it, everyone's mortal. In due time (hopefully later), our grandmas/ uncles etc etc would pass away. Life goes on, pple get married, where would such future gatherings be held? It's only due to my grandma that we have such a strong bonding amongst the Neo side. Of course we would still meet, but there would be a loss...of something precious, valuable. As ever, work and survival would weaken the bonds of the ties btw kinship.

For my paternal side, let's face it. After several decades, i might lose touch with everyone. We never gathered often, only during grandparents' birthdays, CNY. 2-5 times a yr. Compared to the Neo side, 1-4 times a MONTH, bonds btw cousins amongst the Cheongs are insignificant.

Would we grow up in a future where close relatives hardly have the time to say hi to each other? Where would our paths lead us? Growing up further to the future isn't going to be pleasant.

Hence my enjoyment during CNY where the Neo cousins can just sit back, don;t say anything but still feel warmth and contentment in each other's company. That's what true bondship/attachment is to me.

So take this time to show u care abt ur relatives. (i know some of them are bitches), but care for those u truly love.

Think i'm getting old...or rather i think i'm feeling i'm getting old, feeling my age.

It always happens when i play with my nephew and neice or some other news pops up to stupifiy my old timer's brain. Do u know JC pupils don't write out their assignments anymore? it's all done in computer work? At least that's wat my cousin claire told me.

For some reason that made me feel very old and obsolete. I mean what happened to the good old fashioned style of writing ur essays out on pieces of foolscape paper? I'm fine with more advanced comps etc etc. BUT writing on paper is like 1 of the KEY foundations of a school right? They can't take it away! ARGH!!! if it happened sooner, i would have saved like god knows how many pens and ink writing my essays.

Me thinks Victor not rdy for 21st century. Victor feel old...

It doesn't help when during the buffet spread in Uncle Richard's house on monday that we cousins sat on the bed like slugs and passed on "old" childhood stories.

I will post the pics and the events on CNY another time. It's been a very tiring but fun CNY this yr.
Last night was particularly exciting playing citedels in yh's house. He won the game with a decent 32 pts. *claps* BUT I could have won!! Sigh..foiled by my fellow bachelors on the 2 impt key moves.

Foiled plan 1: Chose thief and wanted to steal from yh (which i guessed correctly that he would take abbort). BUT Czy used the witch to possess me and also wanted to steal from yh. Czy said: "steal from so & so (wrong) character. ZZZZ..

Was desperate by then, hit on a genius plan to win the game!

Foiled Plan 2: The last turn!!! Calculated yh had 32 pts!! i had 26 at that time and 0 gold. My plan for winning consisted of 3 parts:

a) Take abbort and get 2 gold from the bank and another 2 gold from his special abilites
b) bulding final YELLOW building which would give me 4pts (30) and the additional 3 pts because i would have the 5 different colour buildings
c) gloat and bask in the glory of victory (gloating is bad but i'm the supreme overlord, so it's ok for me

William spoiled it SPECTACULARLY!! *mutters curses* he took magician and swapped his hand with mine!!! I wouldn't have been that irritated if he had at least 1 yellow district in his hand. but no...green distracts which were as helpful as giving me oil to put out a fire. Best part was the way he swapped hands with me. Will: "Hey victor, got no one to swap hands with lah, swap with u then". The very bo charp heckcare attitude which he ruined my great plan. Bo wei gong...

End story: yh won with 32 pts. I had 31 pts. ($(*@&#!#*!&*!#(&&#!*&#!(*&!&#&(*#!
CURSE U WILLIAM!!!!! I WAS SO SO SO SO SO CLOSE TO WINNING!!!! Pui!

Such harsh comments from yh on MS. But even though i might agree on certain points, i just can't call any girl a bitch. It's not built into my system. Unless she wrecks my family kills a relative etc etc. That's when i will get a whole lot more serious and name callings will be quite down the list of things on the to do list.

Yh's comments are fantastic!! Insightful bugger isn't he? Maybe if he fine tunes a bit, we might transform YH to a POET!!! Or he can be the next mr brown! of course we will call him using another colour since brown's been taken. Maybe Mr BLUE, since yh usually wears blue i think.

On to more dull news

a) just came back from x2 reunion dinners. 1 for lunch (with paternal side) and 1 with maternal side for dinner.

Paternal side nothing much to say. Dinner at a restaurent. Chit chat a bit and go home.

With my grandma side (maternal), it was fantastic as usual! There's a simple joy in having steamboat with ur relatives in the comfort of ur grandma's house. Normal basic conversations brings pleasure due to the strong kinship each of us share. Even better was the game of MONOPOLY we played together later on. Laugher boundless and shrieks/moans of frustation mixed in to blend to form a festive atmosphere.

It reminded me of the very old days when we were 10 yrs old playing little games which lasted throughout the night.

Btw did i mentioned my 2 cousins looked very pretty tonight too? Can't wait for claire to get a bf so the rest of us can interrogate her and the bf. (if bf doesn't pass our standard, drop him off at seberia.) She did mentioned she went out on V day with SOMEONE..but evasive answers clued us to SOMEONE = MALE!! That male better be someone good...no one dates our little cousin for fun. (calls in the relatives power)

As for Yiyu, only way to annoy her is to pester her to get married since she's the next eldest after my bro. (amy's overseas, mark...(dun think anyone expects him to get married for now).

Hx and I had quite an interesting conversation last night. How well do we know our friends?

As i stated in my previous post, it's all in the matter of a person's perceptions.

Let's give an example: Most of us see Edward as a slimy person or a person with 0 chance with girls. On the other hand there could be 1 poor blind misguided person who sees edward as a love master (gags! chokes! vomits blood!). Our lack of knowledge of a certain person prevents us from making a full and complete analysis of that character's profile.

So we shldn't make rash judgements on pple. In addition we show only 1 side of ourselves to pple and we act to become wat they think we are. Kind of hard to explain this. Easier way to say this is..other pple's opinions/expectations are what we strive to achieve. To mold ourselves to become what they expect. Eg: pple usually expect me to laugh all the time make quake jokes etc. Ok most of it is my own character playing a part in that. But that expectation "forces" me to sort of warp into that "funny" (since i know most pple think my jokes are quite lame) person

There is another side of us which we portray to others. An example will be HX. When he's with us, he scolds vulgarities, punches/pinch pple, abuses short leg pple by walking fast etc. But I AM SURE tht he behaves different in church. (at least i hope so)

Another example: IVAN!!!! He steals food drinks our patience from us. BUT I AM 1000% SURE he doesn't do it with xl.


So to friends we show 1 side, to special pple, we show another side. I'm sure that we also show another side to relatives right?

Notice this topic is different from my usual whinning and complainning posts? behold!! the new VICTOR!! who will still whine and rant, but to a smaller degree.

So Ms Melissa Sim has flown off to Sydney. Zzz..wat a day to spend V day. Going with hx to changi to see her off. There went 3 yrs of attempts of even trying to date/talk to her

a) Tried calling (shi bai!*failure* ignored/missed calls 3 yrs ago)
b) tried sms-ing. (also ignored)
c) Email (after 3 no replies i also got the hint)
d) last choice!!! MSN!! (ignored also for 3 yrs straight. Vic:" hi".. waits for reply (sometimes sees her nick changes etc then *poof!* zz..offline!)

In other words i was sending off a friend who was supposed to be closed to us (hx and i) but while going home i realised how well did i know her? The answer? not very well. So was i saying bb to a good friend who was going to sydney or to a friend whom i knew very little of? That of course brought back to mind hx;s word of why were we going to the airport in the 1st place? Of course this is to say that i regretted it. But things might have been different. Of course a lot of pple would have said the same thing in many of the situations in their lifes

Of course i'm seeing all these through my own perspectives which is naturally greatly clouded. If 100 see the same event/action, there would be at least 75 or even 100 different views/perspectives on that particular event.

So she might have been too busy to a) reply emails (only tried this 3 times ) b) reply msn messges. But err...being too busy for 3 yrs in a row even while on holidays a bit flimsy excuse sometimes. Oh well...That's life

Ah the start of a beautiful friendship is a great thing. Here's how some of mine started (of course as usual most of this will directed to make fun of pple )

a) Ivan - I knew him back in way way sec 2? 7 yrs liao...so long. How to not make friends with the guy (only person) who kana caught my mdm oen and given a personal hair cut? That was the day i 1st knew ivan. Over the yrs ivan has refined my a) patience (not blowing my top for him being continously late) b) self control (after eating most of my food and drinks)

b) Hx- 6yrs. - seated besides me for sec 4 and somewhere at the mid in sec 3. The start of a very UNPLEASANT and PAINFUL friendship at 1st. Repeated poundings on my back back when he couldn't control his str (if u can call his currently str controlled in the 1st place) has stiffen my back alot. I dun feel pain when pple hit me now. Learnt the word "fuck" from hx.

c) YH - 6yrs! Introduced me to his perverse logic and world of porn? haha. I was innocent till i met yh....

d) Ed- 6yrs - this i wouldn't even call friendship. Hell i don't even know how he became my friend. *sniff* was i cursed that day? Introduced me to the true meaning of HYPOCRITE!! Always say meet up for bb or something else but he's the top PSK. (pang sei king/kia)

e) Czy - Enuff said. Opened my eyes to see wat a true hard core gamer is. (close fight with yh though for the title. Think he won because yh has to share the comp with his bro/mom while czy has the whole comp for himself until his sister grows up)

f) CY - haha this would sound a bit bad. But cy a bit of a snoob the last time bah. He very proud his maths everytime beat me (still beats me in fact). (UN)Fortunately i also used my " powderful engrish" to gloat back. *yes gloating was bad but cy's gloating was really bua tahan in sec 3. especially since we were both left-handers and sitting side by side* That was the year my EGO/Thick skin started building in earnest.

g) GH - God knows wat sin i committed to be "blessed" with a friend like this idiot. Everyone knows the word KS. But GH took the meaning to a new lvl. HAVE NEVER EVER seen anyone ks like him. I was humbled his extensive "education" of the word "ks" by GH

i) willy!!! aka MR N***le man - can't say anything bad abt him yet leh. Too goody good shoes for now. Then again...he might be slowly corrupting me in many minor but unnoticeable ways.

See? Where pple learn good things from friends throughout the yrs...my "friends" have also educated me to be an EVIL, vulgar *a bit only) and egoistic person.(6 inch of thick skin and still growing).

Hmm 1040 Sunday. Right now Hx shld be in church. Singing hyms and mixing with pretty companions. haha.

Think next yr i will go back to church. When my bro shifts out of the house and i have the car for transportation. Enjoyed singing the hyms during service.

Thus begins another day of studying. Stressed? maybe. i see none of my friends are on msn for the moment. Ivan...prob sleeping. WIll? tkd? sleeping (15% chance), most likely went out somewhere... Guess i will go mug soon.

What my friends in NTU/NUS etc don't really realise abt my "plans" for studying or reasons for mugging so hard is that i've far far far less tutorials/lecture times than them. 1 semester i will only have 7 tutorials and lectures per module. Considering the fact that the very 1st lecture covered abt 275 pgs at 1 shot, even an idiot can see my reason of panic.

Still it's pretty interesting course of studies. I've to actually check the dictionary for some words. gosh! since when was the last time i had to check a dictionary for words which meaning I don't know?

My studies have also began the introduction of looking below the surface (kind of). Many of the work is based on expressing of feelings? deductions etc. It's very unlike *ahem* engineering or the *sniff* science courses. haha. Science courses more like calculating on FACTS FACTS FACTS. Either right or wrong. (is there any essay writing on engineering?)

Btw, I AM THE YOUNGEST person in all (2) my tutorial /lecture groups. A bit lost when these pple start discussing abt their work experiences. Person A: "ya..worked for the last 10 yrs alrdy, quite tiring." ZZZZZ.... (noobshit here hasn't even worked for 1 yr). It's goingto be hard working with such an age gap.

Think the world's coming to an end man!!! 3 reasons:

STRESSED!!! can u believe that i spent most of today studying and reading up on my books? (1 book to be exact) No aussie open tennis to distract me, no dota (too sick of it) to tempt me.

1) found out that several of my tutorials/lectures will be at NP. Blk 50/51 to be exact, which is...*drum roll* near the football field (near the basketball courts which we usually play at). FU*K!!! so far... wah liao leh... somemore it's at night. if i was a girl i might be scared. Zzz...omg...why can't the tutorials/lectures be nearer SIM HQ...but no...

2) Have 3 TMAs(tutor marked assignments) to pass up by 06 mar (latest) . That means i have to do 1 every 10 days. It shldn't be that bad...except my brains damm rusty. And there's also CNY in btw to interrupt me and lots of research to do too. NO!!! (not used to studying yet.)

3) My nose super blocked for some strange reason now. Cleared my room again of rubbish. Must be all the dust flying ard.

4) My cousin Ben's wedding will be in Aug.. So disappointing. Was hoping it would be in Dec. Then my cousins and i could fly over to UK, attend the wedding and tour europe. Oh well...probably have to wait till Amy gets married. Haven't been to europe b4.

Amazed...shocked...Awed by the power showed by federer in trashing Roddick. 6-4, 6-0, 6-2. Straight sets in less than 1.5 hrs. Even more scary is the fact that Federer trashed Roddick (seeded no 6). In fact he has dominated the whole way to the finals in straight sets.

It's not that Roddick played badly. federer was just too good too accurate in his shots.

just realised there's someone in my friend's list that i have no recollection of. No other friends connect to her too. weird.

More than 1/2 my Uni Sim classs consist of Malays/Indians. ZZZZ....do i seem racist? Racism is only when ur words/actions do harm/hurt to pple of different race. So u can think of such thoughts but as long as u don't act on it, it's ok. I'm not that bad against Malays/Indians, in fact i have a few friends amongst those 2 races.

Wished there were more chinese though (gives the dirty old man look) young and pretty ones!!! NO!! go university must go there to study. Anyway most the students in Uni SIM are working adults. Not like NTU or NUS.

sleepy..going to log off now. Got good matches to watch tomorrow.

YA! Nadal was defeated. Great game. Hard to study when there's live telecast of such good matches. Thank goodness my lessons haven't started yet but still...feel guilty watching such good matches.

On a side note: Heard from huimin via msn that CY injured himself??? Some torn leg muscles? Must be from badminton. Sigh! See lah! OCS officer still so weak. Even a clerk didn't get so injured. Although my arm still aches a bit but not as bad as a torn muscle. Bugger probably never warm up/ cool down properly unlike ME!!! (learnt my lesson after 1 such experience. remember i couldn't walk properly for like 4-5 days..)

On a Good point: I've cut down on my dota-ing to once a day only!!! By sunday (end of aussie open), i will have cut down totally on dota!!

Rodger Federer has trashed the next opponent to enter the semi finals...once again trashing his opponent in straight sets. WORSE thing was..federer was making ALOT of unforced errors. Like the commentors were saying,:" This is one of those days when he's playing like 70% of his str, making lots of unforced errors, but he's still good enough to hold off a player of (no 7 seed's name) calibre in straight sets.

That's what i like abt watching Federer's matches. Doesn't take that long. Starts at SG time 1630. And ALWAYS ends b4 my dinner time at 1915. SWEET TENNIS! Not like some pple who always have to play 4-5 set games. (curses Nadal) *sprain ankle! wrist! anything!!!*

It's kind of scary when u compare Federer and discover he's probably better than ur supremely trained tennis character created on ur PS2 games. considering that my character trashes pple like Roddick etc etc.

OH Oh oh...semi finals on friday: RODDICK VS FEDERER!!! (of course federer shld win lah. but shld still be an exciting 3-4 set match). SHIOK!

Watching The Australian Open on SCV. Very impressive display of tennis. As usual/expected, rodger federer trashing all his opponents in straight sets while his other rivals (if they can be called that), are all being pushed to 4-5 sets matches.

Now watching Kim Clijsters play. Have no freaking idea how/why Lleyton Hweitt proposed to her the last time. Bet he must be thanking god that she called off the wedding. (shld be since he's now married to a super model wife) I mean...how can he fall in love with such an ugly person? SHe is 1 of the SHE-MALES in women's tennis.

Still shell shocked that HX went to a CHURCH CAMP!!!!! Just imagine all the urges he has to suppress the usual vulgarities he says when he's with us. William, Ivan and I have agreed, we can't imagine hx saying words like: " Praise to the Lord", "peace be with u" etc etc. THE MOST INCONCEIVABLE sight: HX dressed in a pastor's robes... (and the heavens will shake and the earth shall shatter) hahaha.

Left arm aches like hell. Yesterday's badminton was fun fun fun. Defeated CY!! HOHOHO! Ivan and william are pretty good. CY's better than me i think. Since he does play more often with huimin and shuyu. Oh well just his luck all his drop shots didn't make it it. He said i was lucky to win. Haha...True but luck is needed to win some games! (PS: and he was using my best racket, while i was using his heavier racket. OH YA! WHO'S UR DADDY!!! *victor's skin grows thicker by another 2 inches)

Have to get a new grip for 1 of my rackets. Truly disgusting sight. Maybe i will check the rest of my rackets, see whether the rest needs new grips and re-stringing. ANother good at least $10 out of my pocket....

d) CY went home because tired. (in the army and still so weak. ALso nothing to say)

At home: They played PS2, and dota. (what else is new?) Got them to install zion on my computer since bnet is so full of losers/noobs who leave so often. zion is better even though u still encounter the losers singaporeans quite often. pple with no backbone, no balls, no spine etc, who quit after being killed 1-5 times. Fuckers. But digressing here.

At Home: Drunk baileys (the bottle which i bought from HK and hadn't opened yet). Played PS2 (naruto 3, NBA live 06 and Smash court pro tournement 3) and Comp (dota). Got scolded by my mom again for being such a bad host.

Guys went back at 2am. Leaving me to wash up all their cups etc etc. Some friends...haha.

Hottest portion was almost pure chilli... only hardcore pple like czy or hx enjoyed it. INSANE!!! The food was pretty good. Normal steamboat fare. Fish, meat,(chikcen pork/beef/prawns), mushrooms etc etc. It's not the food that makes the occassion enjoyable, it's the company.

Nothing much. will update photos of AGM BC 2006 one of these days. Just collected my course materials from Uni SIM. Freakishly heavy. Also seen my timetable. Thur + Fri : 1930- 2200. And Saturdays 1430-1730. So that means no basketball on saturdays. Don't want to stink up the lecture rooms. Let edward kbkb, I don't care. My studies are more impt than my social life for now.

I look at my course materials and i feel like crying. So many reading mats. ARGH!!! Reading an enjoyable book is one thing...reading one's textbooks is another. Tomorrow, I will start reading alrdy. Want to get a GPA of 4.5 or at least 4.0. So Bye bye social life. (except in matters of gfs of course. Must carry on the bloodline of the Cheongs!!!)Haha.

You know u need to get a girlfriend when your parents and relatives start asking on how come Victor doesn't have a girlfriend yet.

Of course this could be due to the fact that my bro is going to get married next year, AND i'm the only cousin (of acceptable age) that doesn't have a girlfriend yet. I suppose such things can't be rushed. I swear i will get one during my 4 yrs in SIM. (this doesn't mean that i will find one in SIM)

Sigh...wasted so much time in wild goose chases. Guess i'm like the rest of the club. A bit humji! haha. INEXPERIENCE in dating too i guess.

On happier notes: I've bought a new pair of working shoes and sports shoes. Small feet causes great problems. Especially now when i have the insoles to put inside my shoes. Oh ye lucky pple with normal feet size, how i envy u.

Oh well, i've gotten over the many faults God placed in me.
a) Short height ( gotten used to that eons ago)
b) Very small feet (still whine abt it now and then)
c) Tight leg muscles causing intense pain when running/walking long distances. Basically it's stretching the leg muscles (like a rubber band). I'm envious of pple who can run w/o feeling the pain. I wonder how that feels like, to be able to run for over 2km w/o pain.

Well those are the small permanent problems that will always trouble me. *shrugs*

One of the most bitter pills i've to suffer in my life is having such small feet. I've always envy pple who can walk into shops and there's 100% or even 50% chance of having the correct shop size waiting for them.

Yes, i know this puts me being jealous/envious of around 50% or more of the world population.
I'm pretty sure these pple are ignorant of having the pleasure of walking into a shoe shop, pick out a nice nike/reebok/ addias/converse shoe and buying it after trying it out.

Me? I go to shops after shops, spend months looking for a shoe size to fit my feet (22cm to be exact. that's like a size 5). How i thought the problem was solved when the papers advertised custom-made shoes a yr back or so. Sighs...false hopes and despair resulted. Those customised shoe shops only made female shoes. 4 of those shops advertised admitted to that after i called them.

Some pple ask me why I'm wearing the ugly/ not that comfortable sport shoes bought in the Emart in camp. The reason: They were the only one with my shoe size at that time. Argh!!! The number of times I've been to a sports shop, seen a shoe I like, but immediately know there would be no size for me. How pitiful and pathetic it is.

Damm it!! Why's every custom-made shoe on the web meant for only ladies? I'm sure there are more pple like me. WHERE DO WE BUY SHOES CUSTOM MADE FOR MEN!!??? Fuck it!

What defines one as a Christian? Of course being baptised is a confirmation. But how abt pple like me who hasn't going to church for like yrs and yrs and yrs?

I guess one can call me a sceptic Christian. I believe but don't really believe at the same time. U know the usual questions like Why's there so much hatred and death and problems in the world etc etc.

But I do pray every/every other night. Usual stuff, keep friends/family safe/happy etc. Maybe I shld pray to be happy myself. It just might work. Somehow I think I was never really meant to believe in 1 faith. I might not be like Hx who would/and have argue with pastors/monks/converts, but I do habour doubts at times. ( typical pple the religious encounter everytime).

Religion is all nice, promote peace, trust, faith in one another and in one's Deity/God/. I respect that. (i'm tolerant of other religions). Anyway it's almost Xmas. Head being muddled with all the Xmas songs. Hence the talk abt religion i think.

I've just borrowed a book from Meiting on Wednesday. An very interesting and most engaging book. It actaully took me 2 full days (abt 10hrs of continous reading) to read it finish. Interesting, considering the fact that i can usually read finish books in abt 5-6 hrs, (which i did with the previous latest fantasy book i rented).

Found out something abt my reading speed: The more entertaining the book the faster? i read it. As in sitting on the sofa for 4-5 hrs at a stretch and ignoring necessities at times like lunch, water/food etc. Fantasy books are the types which i read the fastest. Others i tend to read at a slower pace.

Of course I read books fast because of my speed reading i guess. I can sort of read whole sentences at 1 glance. I miss out on minor details though. Hence i've to re-read the books 2-3 times. Minor details usually mean the town's name? some minor character's name etc.

Thank god for 2nd handbook stores. Can just rent the books and return them. Read finish the latest Artemis Entreri/ Jarlaxle Baenre book in 4hrs.

Anyway had an enjoyable dinner/desert with Meiting. Haha..didn't know she was a vegetarian. Luckily ate at a food court which had a vegetarian stall. All in all, a fun day. Like i said b4, girls are more interesting to go out with other guys (DUH! for obvious and not so obvious reasons)

12.37am. Time to sleep. Later on at 9am there's NBA.

Feel tired...too much dota not good for health. Last few dota games b4 my Univ term starts. I will make a promise to myself.

NO DOTA WHEN MY TERM START IN JAN 07!! Except during maybe saturdays. It's going to be study study study. I will be a shu zhong. a bookworm. I shall devote myself to the mastering of my books, notes and the english language/literature.

I've alrdy roughly planned my schedules. Morning wake up, go library for research. Then come back after lunch. Rest for a short while, read notes, have dinner, go for my lectures/tutorials at night.

I shall stand firm. Wouldn't be like gh who said will quit dota, but *thinks of the every weekend dota playing* bleh.

Let's see how long i can last. Shld be no problemo at all i think. Maybe I will keep my WC3 CD away. *hands twitching from withdrawal symptons alrdy* haha.

The Cheong Family has produced yet another genius. My little cousin has done outstandingly well in his PSLE! Score? I don't know. But I heard he has been offered the ACS(I) 6 yr study programme. So i guess it's been pretty good.

My uncle and aunt must have excellent genes. Everyone of their 4 kids are all smarty pants. Of course they have nurtured their children with great love and peace and harmony in the family. If only I could say the same of my own. Everytime I see my uncle being so kind and in sync with his children, i can only sigh and wonder at the possbilites if things were different.

But God? Fate? has tossed my bro and I such a way of life, and we can't really do a thing abt it. Where what should be love and care, there's only an abiding hatred. Slow and continously growing but always kept under control. Cold indifference is our attitude, be grateful it doesn't warp to something else.

Of course Victor has a very good personality. I've been praised as the most loving and big hearted amongst all the grandchildren in both side of the family. I wouldn't eat u..come to uncle victor. hohoho! Thing i took that particular trait from my mom.

Isn't it strange how such intense hatred and great kindness/genoursity co-exist? Such is the way of life. It doesn't mean I like the way it has turned out though.

Almost a week since Master Victor became Slave Victor when my maid was given leave to go back to her hometown for 3 weeks. Of course there's always a possbility that she will run away, forcing my family to find a new replacement.

Oh well, until she comes back or a new maid arrives, it's up to Butler Victor to
a) wash the dishes
b) mop the house
c) water the flowers ( thank god it's been raining for the last few days)
d) make the bed
e) help out in the cooking (i volunteered for this, but my mom seems reluctant to have me help out)

Ah I know what most of my friends are thinking. Victor doing household chores? IMPOSSIBLE! He's a pampered child etc etc. Well, YOU THOUGHT WRONG BUGGERS!!!! Victor does have the knowledge and ABILITY to do the various chores that's supposedly done in a house.

For potential wives**, (okok i know it shld be for the potential WIFE, but a guy can hope right?) VICTOR can do household chores! A good point/merit for a husband. Interested parties leave a note in the comments section. Will diligently check my blog for the next few days.

I've realised why I've started to blog more often. After JC, there's been very little time to practise writing essays or whatever stuff. Blogging, while not as good as pure good JC essay writing, it is at least some sort of writing or rather in this case a form of typing.

I've noticed a marked decreased in my spelling (swap spell as swarp) and pronunciation of certain words. Then again pronouncing words have always been a trouble for me, since i can't pronounced the letter "r" properly.

Learnt quite a bit from the grammer books i've been reading. But there's still a lot to learn. I must do more.

Unlucky nov 29th.

1) got stumped on learning from the damm book. However i have now successfully learn wat nouns, verbs etc etc are now after several hrs of reading)

2) Went out for lunch to find

a) the duck rice stall i wanted to have lunch at wasn't opened today
b) neither was the Prawn mee/Malay food stall
c) nor Pizza hut (was quite desperate by this moment)

In the end ate at KFC. not really nice.

And to conclude a lousy day:
ignored on msn again for the 250+++ time in a row? (take 2yrs+ i guess)
Sighs once, bigger sigh, biggest sigh.

Learning english from a book is tough. Not easy at all *shakes head* But it has to be done. If not i'm sure to lose out to the older pple in my class in SIM uni when term starts in Jan.

On to other things. I've noticed something very strange in the advertisements promoting the Asian games. Why do they show stars like Rodger Federer and Justin Henin? How very interesting to notice that Switzerland and Belgium were a part of Asia.

Wonders whether the promoters of the asian games can be sued.

Wow, took my 1st steps in learning more abt english to prepare me for the SIM open UNiv in Jan. Took out my bro's study book obtained in NIE which was abt english language study.

Want to spit blood. How did I ever do well in English without knowing a thing about Nouns, Proverbs, pronouns, determiners, conjuctions, prepositions, verbs??? Only thing i knew, as in the real meaning was Adjectives.

Think it had to do with the damm governement. During my generation ( makes pple like me sound so old), we weren't taught grammer. Bloody hell. THANKS A LOT PAP!!!! At least they have corrected this blunder of theirs now. Heard they have began teaching Kindagarten kids grammer again. Lucky pple. Blessed with more knowledge than their seniors.

Why does it always have to rain when i'm thinking of going out for lunch? Why does it almost always rain when i don't bring my umbrellra with me? SOmeone up there doesn't like me i think, or rather enjoys seeing me get soaked.

ARGH!!! All my friendster testimonial has been deleted!!! NO!!!

I mean most of them were the usual victor is a nice guy etc etc, with an occassional insult thrown in, but still...

Ok i didn't have a lot of testimonials (small social circle i guess) but *sniff sniff* i'm an kindof emotional type of guy. (can hear the sniggers and laughter from certain friends. Don't make me kill u guys later)

PS: I noticed a lot if not every of my entries have the ".........." in them. Maybe i should try and cut down on it.

U know listening to Final Fantasy Soundtracks is a very soothing habit. The music for most of them are peaceful, relaxing, and pleasing to the ears. Most of them were composed by Nobuo Uematsu.

The latest FFXII only consisted of 1 song which he composed. I must say, the music i hear in FFXII is very pitiful. Sigh...such a pity that Nobuo Uematsu retired from Square Soft. *sobs* Truly a great talent gone.

But seriously, FFXII the soundtracks really cannot be compared with the other FFVII- FFX series songs. The music in the rest of the series are actaully so beautiful that i've stopped playing sometimes juz to enjoy the music in a certain part of the map. FFXII sadly lack that feature. In fact I often played it without noticing the background music at all. *laments more*

Think next time i will go to HMV and try to find out more of Nobuo Uematsu's cds. Heard he formed the band BLACK MAGES.

Listening to FF soundtracks calms my anger and temper. I LIKE IT! of course for some pple, they would say the music puts them to sleep. True in a sense since it's very soothing/calming etc etc. LONG LIVE Nobuo Uematsu!!

I've always loved taking care of my little Prince and Princess Nephew and Niece. If only they would be less irritating at times. But hey kids, u juz can't really stay angry at them.

Sunday went to my Ah mah's house for lunch. They were so cute! (as usual, i would always say that)

They both wanted to eat their small little box of conflakes. (luke loves Koko crunch , while miki loves her Honey Stars). At least Miki (short form of micheala pronounced as Mi care la. ) bothers to share her conflakes with me. She's so much generous than the SELFISH LITTLE BROTHER!!!!!

She passes her food (sometimes half eaten fruits too *yuck*) to relatives. Luke is abt ME ME ALL MINE!! He wants to avoid me from stealing his food. He even punched me!! HIS OWN UNCLE! So sad.

To emphasis his pt, he took 1 handful (pretty small since it's a 2.5 yrs old baby) and stuffed it into his mouth. Sighs...cute but greedy little kid.

Of course actually luke is quieter and less active than his elder sis. He sits quietly colouring on his sister's book.

Miki jumps, sings, and dances. Cute but noisy. One IRRITATING habit she has is sitting on me tummy after my meal. After that she attempts to plug out my leg hair 1 by 1, while singing a song. (I know i have hairy legs but still..argh!!!). Note: It's ok for her to try but for anyone else, it's like digging ur own grave. On the + side, she feeds me grapes. Nice feeling like an Emperor. *coughs* doesn't consider as child exploitation right?

My only wish for them is: WHY CAN'T THEY WASH OR WIPE THEIR HANDS ON TISSUE PAPER AFTER HAVING THEIR FOOD/FRUITS B4 TOUCHING ME???? YUCK! I'm always covered with fruit juices after taking care of them everytime. so sticky.

Anything to see them smile i guess. :)

Bachelor's club getting smaller by the yrs. First was John Ming, and now HX???!!

The club had *manually counts* 8 members...ok now 10 if we include will and gh. (ed,ivan,czy,yh,hx,john, myself, gh ,will, PSK ?), founded in yr 2002?? Attrition rate would be 1 person every 2yrs. So if u use mathematics, it would be 16 yrs b4 everyone gets a girlfriend. So by the time ed gets married (if ever), he can celebrate his 40th birthday juz in time. hahaha.

How weird that among all the pple, it's the 2 most unlikely pple to get gfs. Ok..actaully all of us are all very unlikely prospects. Haha..

Haha..survival type of elimination: HX voted off the island of bachelors. *sniff sniff sob sob* EVEN if he insists it's unofficial. *coughs* Since i know u will read this hx, ask u what's the difference between Official & Unofficial GF? Pray enlighten me.

In defence of Hx, he is the most muscular amongst all of us. I mean real muscles. All of us have big muscles, but most of us are 1 pack muscles. Hx might have 2-4. (only exception is Ivan whose bones can be seen pretty clearly)

At least i think Hx's gf (official or otherwise) is prettier than John's. Bloody hell.. I'm still jealous of non-single guys. (homos dun count, so bugged off)

Guess have to rely Ivan and Ed to accompany me to the "finals" of this survival "game" *evil laughter*

wanted to blog something but somehow don't really feel like blogging now. Peer pressure from hx and ivan. haha...everytime insisiting that i blog. ARGH!! There's always something magical abt the way grandma(s) cook food. Everyone;s grandmas cook good food. Even when we try to learn how to do the same cooking, the end product is always (100%) inferior to their dishes.

BAKU TEH!! BAKU TEH! (*Starts drooling*). Just thinking of it makes me feel hungry.

(Since he enjoyed playing with both of them so much, i did give the 2 ballons to luke later on) I mean PLS!!! What was i suppose to do with them anyway once i got home? I'm no kid!!!

I know this is a very delayed photo (takeb during my 21st birthday party) which was in Sept. Gosh...it's been 2 months alrdy. Anyway thx to my friends that came (ahem evne though i'm sure they wanted the free buffet more! haha.) Fine...they did give me good gifts in return. So i shld be more more gracious!  

Don't kn ow why SOME pple complain i don't blog more often. So far I've been blogging like once every 2 weeks!!!

That's a VAST improvement man! At least it's far better than the once every 2-3 months update. So anyway for the the lastest updates for the last 2 weeks

a) Been trying to find a job but so far no luck. blah! Think i would read up some english books on grammer and vocabulary to brush up on my english and prepare me for my Uni term in Jan. I must also be more err....refined? Will try not to swear so much (especially when playing dota) and try not to use singlish.

b) Attened ulric's birthday party on 17th Nov. Not bad at all. Bumped into a few old friends. Food there was GOOD!!! (at bloonie). Even though i think everyone overate.

c) Bought and completed FFXII alrdy. (in 2 weeks). That's a lot of time clocked in. But best to get rid of such a distraction b4 univ starts.

d) Realised that a person can plan for an event for many hrs, but if God doesn't want it to happen or by pure freak chance, there's really nothing that can be done. Man proposes, God disposes.

e) Since i'm using the desktop to type this out instead of the laptop, might as well update some of the photos i've taking from several occasions.

Ever noticed the more u shave , the faster the damm hair grows? Now have to shave myself once every 2 days. How irritating. Have to thank my cousin for the shaver.

*mutters* Wonder whether anyone tried waxing their moustaches? it might hurt but if it saves shaving forever it might be worth it? Maybe shld ask ed to test it out. Get rid of his chee ko pei look.

Bloody hell didn't know buying birthday presents could be so damm expensive and frustrating. I mean how hard can it be to buy gifts right?

Went to suntec to see wat chocs i could buy....almost vomited blood at the prices of the chocs at this shop[ called Govida ( i think). $35 - $200 chocs.

$35 was for those super puny and pathetic box of 6 pieces of equally tiny and puny choc pieces.

think i will try going Raffles place later on. Maybe i shld bring the SCV TV prg book along too. They did show several places of where to buy good choc for reasonable prices too.

Several things Victor never regrets spending money on

1) FOOD!!!
2) spending money on friends (a certain amt i mean, so dun try to take advantage hor ( Glares at certain pple with the surnames of Tang (ivan), Teo (hx), Chen (zy), Tan (ed). There think i didn't really mention names right? *evil laughter*
3) Relatives/ Family
4) Certain items which interest me greatly (wasabi coated peanuts etc)
5) Gifts (fortunately i dun buy them often)

Money doesn't bring much joy or happiness to a person(subjective) but it does make life damm convenient.
